Picturesque Log Cabin in Alton, NH Just 15-mi to Gunstock Mountain Resort!

We needed a place last minute that was pet friendly, found this listing was available and it was just what we needed for a quick, peaceful getaway for a weekend.

Our family group of eight thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this property! Such a great home with rustic cabin/lodge/lake themes and plenty of room to spread out in three floors of living space, plus front and rear porches on the outside. Walking distance to the neighborhood's deeded beaches made for easy and fun access to Sunset Lake and Hills Pond for swimming and paddleboarding. Enjoyed 30 minutes or less of scenic driving for most points of interest on Lake Winnipesaukee. Host Dave was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had regarding the stay. We would definitely consider a return visit in the future!

We had an amazing stay at the Moose Lodge with our family for the 4th of July. We love coming up to Alton Bay but the tucked away association of Alton Shores is a hidden gem. The house was perfect and spacious for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids and the quiet beaches nearby are perfect for the kids or if you enjoy just a quiet water view. We had everything we needed and loved being able to enjoy the screened in porch in the evenings and morning without fighting the bugs outside. We hope to be back again someday! It was absolutely, amazing experience! The cabin was very clean, cozy, and nice rustic theme each room. The kitchen was fully functional, plenty of rooms for 10 people. 3 flat TV and Bluetooth was a great additional! We had a great time !! Thank you!

Fabulous! We were 4 adults, 2 young adults, 2 preteens and 3 kids and we were all so comfortable in this beautiful home and setting. Kitchen was fully stocked, clean and convenient. Communication with David was superb. We’d definitely recommend this property!! Thank you David.
