Petoskey Getaway relaxing home in a great location

Property was very accomodating - wood, supplies, great location, etc.

We were attending family wedding, so location was perfect. Hoists are great and super easy to reach. House is very clean and welcoming. Great addition is pool table and dart board in the basement!

This was a super-comfortable property in a perfect location close to downtown Petoskey and a 3-minute drive to a beautiful sunset park. It has a nice private deck with a BBQ in great condition. Our hosts, Paul and Heather, answered our questions promptly but most everything was well explained in advance.

Lovely home in the perfect location. Balcony and pool table were nice amenities. Would definitely stay there again if I’m in the area.

Check-in was very easy per their instructions. The location was extremely good for our stay for our Friend's Daughter's Wedding. We were right in the middle of everywhere we needed to be. We had a short walk either north or west to see the bay. The house is generously stocked with everything you would need to stay there. The back deck is a perfect place to enjoy a drink with the woods in the background behind. If we get back to Petoskey again, I will certainly see if we can stay here again. The musty moldy smell in the basement was unbearable. The gasoline smell in the garage was overpowering, and the garage floor was always wet from moisture from somewhere. no central air conditioning, only two units one in the kitchen and one in the master bedroom, which was no use. It was extremely hot. The second bedroom had no window unit, and no fan, very uncomfortable. we have never stayed in a rental property where the owners left all their personal belongings throughout the house, even food in the refrigerator. The place was a little rundown not as clean as we would expect a VRBO to be. I would think you have higher standards. does anyone actually go to these homes from VRBO to check them ?apparently not.

Wonderful house and hosts! Our family gathering weekend was so enjoyable. The kitchen had all items we needed. The check-in and check-out processes were super easy. We look forward to staying here again!!

A wonderfully well stocked and amazingly clean home in a quiet neighborhood. It was a perfect base for our northern Michigan adventures. Close enough to everything we needed, but far enough away where I could star gaze on the back deck. Hosts were excellent. Would highly recommend this location, and I fully intend to be back! It was great. The road it is on is 25mph and the traffic is really very limited. We appreciated the real stainless steel pots and pans for cooking, like that's huge for cooking for us as we value what pur food is cooked in or on (my wife wanted to make sure i mentioned that). Fire pit with the wood was awesome, also the shed radio is a nice touch when being out at the fire. Kids enjoyed the snacks that were there for them. Nice large garage was great for our bikes and golf clubs. It's nice and quiet to with a good breeze from the lake and plenty of direct sunlight for being outside. Hosts were very accomidating and responsive. Overall a great place to stay close to everything.

Location was great, away from the traffic but close enough to get to places. Nice quite neighborhood. House was as per the description. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

This lovely home was just perfect!It had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend! The communication with Heather and Paul was outstanding! The beds were very comfortable, the house was clean. We would definitely stay there again!

Great location and very comfortable! All the amenities one could want. Short stay for us, but would be great for a long stay.

We came to the area to get married and wanted to have my young adult children stay with us, Perfect location nestled between our venue and other out of town guest.Very well stocked house and very homey feeling. I agree with a former guest that said there were more personal items, pictures and decor, than most rentals we have used but that wasn't a negative for us.

No complaints, beautiful area and great place to stay!

This home was perfect and the hosts were wonderful. We were in town for medical care and had some ups and down regarding that during our stay. Heather was so understanding and flexible. We couldn't have found a better place to stay and hope to be able to return in healthier times.

Location was great felt out away but close to town. Amenities and space was great. Only complaint was not having curtains or blinds in the kitchen. Neighbors could see everything while working in their garden.

Great central location to be able to ski all around the Petosky area (we hit Highlands and Boyne Mountain this trip). House was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend. Having the garage was great to store skis and wet gear. Definitely would book this property again.

Good home and communication with owners

This could not have been more perfect for our stay in Petoskey. The home was clean, comfortable, and a great location in a quiet neighborhood yet near to everything. I would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the area. To the hosts; Thanks again for everything

The owners were nice and communicated well. The property was clean and the location was very good for us. Check in was easy. My only concern/ complaint ,and it is minor, is that the master bathroom is very small. The shower was fine, just the rest of the space is small and no where to put your items. Other then that it is very nice.

We enjoyed our stay and used the home as a base to explore and enjoy the Petoskey area. A much better way to vacation with friends

The location of the house was great! We were in the area to golf at Bay Harbor, which was only a 7 minute drive away. We also spent a day on Mackinac Island, and the ferry was less than 50 minutes away. The house was very clean and had everything you would need. The check in and out process was very smooth and easy. Would defiitely come back!

This was a great property for our vacation in the Petoskey area. What a blessing it was to stay in this home. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and promptly replied to our communications. We hope to return in the future.

We wanted to spend some quality time with some friends from out of town. Our children are like bonus cousins. Your home was the perfect space for us to shower and sleep. This home was located close to downtown Petosky and not too far from Harbor springs or Bay Harbor. The only issue I had was unclear checkout procedures. I tried reaching out to the owners thru the app ito verify but they did not respond.
