Pet Friendly Studio with Private Fenced Yard

Wonderful stay…. Tranquil . We had everything we needed.

Property was all it was advertised to be. Very comfortable for pet owners and their furry children without the appearance of a pet-friendly accommodation, which can sometimes feel more like a human-friendly pet kennel. Very close to many eating places and stores, etc. Will stay again if they will have us. We had an issue with internet connectivity, and it was eventually resolved. Owner was attentive to the issue and intervened to the degree he was able to do so. It's truly a great place to stay. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out.

The place was nice and very pet friendly. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard. The reason I am not rating it higher is due to housekeeping/ maintenance issues. The dishwasher was dirty and smelled terrible. When we used the oven, the knobs would get so hot I had to turn them off with a pot holder. The dishes had dust and food residue in them and I had to wash them before using them. There was a large clump of hair sitting in the washing machine. The bathroom sink stopper wouldn’t lift so the sink wouldn’t drain, and there was a strange smell in the bathroom that we think was the shower water. We also turned the AC down 64, but the temperature never changed even though we kept turning it down. It felt like it was probably in the upper 70s. We could have communicated this with the host during our stay, however we heavily value privacy and did not want someone working on things while our dog and luggage was unattended if we were away. On a side note, my father was in a tragic accident the week before our trip. I notified the host to see if we could get a refund, although it was outside the cancellation period. The host said we had to reschedule but we could not get a refund. Due to many family events and other factors we could not do so. My father’s condition did improve some and he asked that we proceed with our trip and not cancel for his account and lose our money. I know it was outside of the cancellation period, but I was hoping for some compassion due the circumstances.

We had an amazing stay at Pop’s Garage! The location was perfect — very convenient to great restaurants and shopping. The home was super clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It’s also an excellent place to stay if you’re traveling with dogs. The host truly thought of everything, even providing both big and small dog bones for our fur babies, which was such a thoughtful touch. We felt very welcomed and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was wonderful. It was a great little quiet place for my solo work trip.

Great place & location. This is our third stay at Pop's Garage in Jacksonville. It's the perfect cottage and you can tell the Hosts put love and care into the details, so our stay is relaxing and comfortable. They make check in and out a breeze. We love the updated look and feel of the place. If available, we always book Pops Garage when we are visiting family in the area. This rental checks all the boxes we find important....comfy, private, kitchen, king size bed, pet friendly with a nice patio and fenced yard. Our pups love this location and we've added walking the quiet neighborhood with the pups - Getting our steps in. We would highly recommend Pop's Garage in lieu of a hotel for the privacy and comfort. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we will definitely stay again in the future.

Great overall stay! Perfect space for my dog and I. Came to visit a friend in the area and go to the beach. Host was available if anything was needed during my stay. House was clean and small side yard great for my dog. Would definitely stay here again!

Second time I've stayed at this location and was as perfect as the first. Really love the proximity to area restaurants and for getting into JAX. The property is perfect for my dog to roam around in the fenced in area. Owner's are great and will plan a return!

I stay in JAX for business and first time I’ve stayed outside of the city. Really liked this location as great area for the dog and very quiet area. The space was perfect -well kept and appointed for my stay. Will definitely stay another time in town.

This is our second stay at Pop’s Garage in Jacksonville. Perfectly located within a thirty minute drive to all the places we needed to visit while in town and the rental checks all the boxes for our rental spot…comfy, private, kitchen, washer/dryer, pet friendly with the added bonus of a fenced yard. Our three pups enjoyed relaxing and hanging out in the upgraded fenced area with patio and beautiful oaks. We would highly recommend Pop’s Garage in lieu of a hotel for the privacy and tranquility.
