Pet-Friendly Saranac Lake Retreat w/ Deck & Yard

Property was as described. Great distance from Saranac lake and lake placid Plenty of outdoor activities in the area!

The house was clean and cozy. Check in was a breeze and the host allowed us to check out an hour late with short notice.

We loved the location of this house. We were within walking distance to the town and also to the Rails by Trails. It is also just 15-20 minutes to Lake Placid. The house was loaded with all the essentials that we needed to make our trip easy and comfortable.We used the upstairs deck every night to watch the sun go down. I highly recommend this house and Saranac Lake for a nice relaxing vacation.

We had a very nice stay. The house was very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were a bit guarded by the fact that the ring camera was visible into the windows of the kitchen and stairwell/living room but we put paper up and the owner said they’d be putting up blinds at some point.

Enjoyed our stay at this home. Girls trip to watch international ice dance competition. Location convenient to lakes,hikes,Lake Placid. Home comfortable, clean and thoughtfully appointed. would return.

We enjoyed our weekend stay. This home was a great retreat for us to enjoy on a soak and wet weekend. We were able to come back from the Adirondack Birding Celebration and be warm,dry and cozy! Well stocked with all the amenities! Thank you for a comfy weekend!

This dog-friendly rental house has space for everyone and anything that you could possibly need during your stay! Lots of games, books, pet bowls/towels, fully stocked kitchen.

Fantastic location for us visiting from about 6 hours away. The house was clean, welcoming, and honestly, one of the most comfortable places we’ve stayed. Easy checkin, clear parking, great location, and had all needed amenities.

As a family of 5 we greatly appreciated the ample spaces for storing our gear outside as well as the rooms where we could rest after a busy day in the Adirondacks. Being an older house just added to the charm for us.

The house and overall experience were great! We were a group of 4 friends in town for some ADK hiking, and the house was perfect- very clean, well stocked, comfy, spacious and a good location. We cooked most dinners there and the kitchen had plenty of amenities! The laundry facilities were a great bonus as it was very wet and snowy for our hikes, so the dryer came in handy.

We loved this charming house that had everything. The kitchen was very well equipped. Laundry also had all you needed. Lots of blankets and puzzles!

The house is well maintained, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. We did not want for anything. The location was a short distance from the shops and restaurants of Saranac Lake and a convenient location for exploring the region. It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer for our 5-night stay. Accessing the property was straightforward, as were the directions for checking out.

Location was something left to be desired. It's right on the road near a busy road and behind an equipment rental company that if you are there during business hours can be noisy. Also, the neighbor decided to play drums for an hour at 9pm one night. The house is nice and recently re-done. If you have a toddler with you, I would suggest bringing a baby gate for the top of the stairs and they are very steep and we didn't have one so we had to block it with a pack & play that was in the hallway closet. Check out was a bit of a long laundry list of things to do and you still got charged a cleaning fee! If someone is coming to clean why should we have to put the trash out in the dumpsters and remove sheets from beds, I've done half the work for you.

Great place for the price. Everything you need as a base for a weekend in the Adirondacks.
