Pet Friendly ~ Private Pool ~ Golf Cart

The house was better than the pictures. Plenty of room for our party of seven. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook any meals at the house, including a regular coffee pot, a keurig and blender. Plenty of towels provided and hair dryers. The pool was amazing and the gulf cart made getting to the beach a breeze. Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys provided along with wagons, however we hauled everything with the gulf cart. Can't wait to come back next year.

Home was very clean and had your common essentials. The pool was clean and the golf cart made it convenient. The beach access was really close so that was a good plus to the stay.CONS: Accessing the communities gate was iffy at times where the gate code didn't work sometimes. The beach access location was kind of confusing to find but it is close. No actual parking for the golf cart to go to the beach and was Instructed by the property managers to park the golf carts outside the community entrance but the signs outside the entrance states no parking of those particular vehicles there so that made us nervous. Seen 3 racer snakes in the backyard coming in and out of some area on the side of the house but didn't seem aggressive.

We arrived on Monday eve and didn't use the pool until Tuesday stayed at the shallow end because the pool needed to be cleaned. There was no skimmer to remove the bugs. My husband hooked the hose up and vacuum the bottom. I called twice and sent messages as well.

This house was just what we needed for our vacation.There was great communication and any questions were answered promptly. The only difficult thing we had to deal with was trying to figure out how to turn on the shower!

The kitchen has everything you need. All appliances were up dated, clean, and in good working order. The things provided for the ocean were a bonus. Also loved all the outdoor furniture, dining table, and grill. The pool with the water fall was fabulous and very clean. Vacation Haven was also exceptional to work with. My only suggestion and not complaining, the couch and rug in living room is ready to retire and the blinds on the back door don’t go up to see that beautiful back yard. These were my only things and they are not deal breakers. Great place for families or even just couples with furbabies.

Reviewer Comments: The house was nice; sadly, there were only 4 washcloths and 4 towels, but it sleeps up to 10 with no option for additional clean towels or washcloths. Also, the “walk” to the beach was more like a short hike between carrying the beach towels, umbrella, chairs, and bags because the golf cart had to be parked a quarter-mile away from the beach access. It is much easier to drive the golf cart to the public access a half-mile away, park closer, and schlep your stuff down the ramp. Bring your own beach towels because there aren’t any! The doors to the bedroom and bathroom don’t stay open, leading to some stuffy rooms and frustrated kiddos. The beds were uncomfortable but clean, with plenty of pillows but no extra blankets. The pool was nice though quite warm. Overall it was nice, but we will look for somewhere else to stay next time.
