Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice living room & kitchen. Rest of house very dated. Termites on porch. Bug spray in almost every room. RVA let us move out after a week. They tried to clean up. Just very old place.

Wasn’t so sure how I’d like it. It was fun and a nice change. You never see your neighbor in a condo complex but a home on a canal has dog walkers etc that say hello. Everyone waves when driving by. It was nice.

They had just completed major work on the unit prior to our arrival this year, and everything went wrong. No light in the swimming pool; propane tank malfunction with no heat in clothes dryer - decreased heat in pool; kitchen range would not work; ice box lost power; RVA did react with variable success. The light switches need to be labelled - there seems to be dozen of switches to something !The floor plan works well for our family, and my sisters live across the street, so the location is perfect. We will be back for family functions, and will consider renting this unit again, if you can anticipate and correct many of the problem listed. We were told that we willreceive a $ 400.00 credit for the problems, andwe appreciate that. See below - I am not from Tarzana, but from San Diego,

Reviewer Comments: We rented this home to stay in while we had a full remodel done to our condo. This home had not been well maintained and had many issues with it. There was no hot water in the shower, which a plumber came and fixed, the A/C on the ground level stopped working & had to be fixed, there was evidence of termites and BLACK MOLD in the downstairs bathroom, which led RVA to move us to a different home. We were very unhappy with this home and recommend you don't rent it.

We loved our Longboat Key vacation! The house had more than enough room for our family of 4 to gather and then retreat to our own private corners. Location was great. We really appreciate RVA’s outstanding customer service and will 100% be booking one of their properties again.
