Pet-friendly in Pirates Beach

Ahh! Feel your blood pressure drop as you cross the Causeway and know you are only 20 minutes from settling into your wonderful vacation home. Located in the exclusive Pirates Beach community of Galveston, Texas, you’ll find all the amenities you need at this bright and lovely home called Coconut Villa where my home is your home.

Two bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs sleep four. The front bedroom offers a queen bed and a dresser housing a TV inside. The back bedroom offers adouble bed, located at the end of the hall next to a full size laundry room. The master suite is upstairs with a 4-poster queen bed, an armoire, another TV and a large bathroom. All beds are extremely comfortable, featuring memory foam mattress toppers with quality bedding and down/feather pillows. The daybed in the living room is also very comfortable with available bedding to sleep one, so the total number this home sleeps is seven. Perfect for families or friends gathering for some beach time.

A large deck offers plenty of room to enjoy the coastal breezes with a peak-a-boo ocean view. There is a propane grill, dining table for al fresco meals, as well as a pair of chaise lounges for your enjoyment. From sunbathing in the day to cooking out in the evening to incredible stargazing at night, you’ll find yourself out there a lot! The large fenced yard is lushly landscaped with roses and tropical bushes and there is an outdoor shower head below with hot and cold water for rinsing off when you return from the beach. Vacant lots on either side of this very large lot offer more privacy than usual.

Back inside, the living, dining and kitchen areas are all spacious and flow together with lots of windows, plenty of light and hardwood floors throughout. A large kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal and set a fabulous table! This home was NOT set up as a rental so there are very nice and plentiful pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes and glasses. I have cooked and hosted many holiday meals and dinner parties here. The china cabinet is filled with beautiful stemware for your adult beverage enjoyment. The dining room table can seat up to 8 with comfortable banana leaf chairs should you want to linger. And if you choose to go out, you’ll have my recommendations for the best places in Galveston for brunch, happy hour and dinner from my 15+ years on the Island!

The armoire in the living room houses a large TV with DirectTV Stream for your entertainment as well as a selection of board games. Turn over the top of the end table next to the sofa and you’ll find a lovely backgammon board. And for all your electronic devices, high-speed wireless internet will keep you well connected. At the other end of the spectrum, ceiling fans in every room allow you to open the screened windows in spring and fall and enjoy nature’s sounds and breezes.

I allow small pets on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee. Golf carts, surf and paddle boards, kayaks and canoes can all be rented by the day, weekend or week and delivered right to the home. This home is best suited for 6 adults or two couples with a few children as there are no bunk beds. The maximum number of guest is seven.
