Explore the Short North Arts District
The Short North Arts District is one of the Midwest’s best kept secrets. There is a huge variety of unique shops, bars and restaurants, and art galleries along High Street and a number of annual events that take place year-round. We have a thorough list of recommendations in the house to local bakeries, cafes, and restaurants.

About the Neighborhood
This home is located in Weinland Park, part of the historic Short North area. It’s a cool, urban neighborhood with a mix of renovated homes and those still awaiting their makeover—reflecting the area’s ongoing growth and development. The neighborhood is home to both young professionals and families, and you’ll be within walking distance of High Street and North 4th Street coffee shops, restaurants, and bars.

Is the Neighborhood Safe
We live nearby and feel comfortable here, but like any city neighborhood, it has its own energy. If you’re not used to city living, it may feel a little different at first. Petty crime can occur in the Short North and University districts, so we recommend the usual precautions: don’t leave valuables in your car, and when walking at night, stick to well-lit, busier streets like High Street, Summit, and 5th Avenue. We’ve never had issues at our apartments, but we like our guests to feel informed and confident during their stay.

Near the following:
• Restaurants- The Table, Condados, Fox in the Snow, Basil
• Bars & breweries- Seventh & Son, North High Brewing, Brother Drakes
• Grocery stores- Kroger & Giant Eagle Market Fresh (Third Ave, Grandview)
• Fitness gyms- Cross Fit, Short North Fitness, Thank Yoga

Guest Access
You’ll have full access to your side of the duplex as well as the fenced backyard. Please note that the backyard and parking area are shared with the neighboring unit.

Very easy to work with, neighborhood was what we expected given its location. The couch could use some work in the middle seat area over all good stay and would stay there again

The host was very welcoming and available via text. The place was very clean, with a cute kitchen and very close to OSU and places to eat. The place was a lot older and in need of a paint job than we expected-the couch was very very soft and uncomfortable, nothing matched. Fairly loud street noise in the master bedroom. Beds were comfortable-pillows were huge and hard foam. Tiny bathroom. Loved the hot shower and the heating was excellent. You get what you pay for.

We had a lovely stay in this home. The only hiccup was that the code for the door wasn't working. But our host was quick to accommodate us and make sure everything was okay, which was wonderful!

Great property located just 5 min. from the Ohio Fairgrounds where we were competing. Communication with host was excellent. Clean property. The ally to get into the back side of the property for parking was a little tight with a big truck, it's doable but be ready to back out if you meet a car.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Was exactly as the pictures show. The beds were comfortable, the towels were soft, everything was super clean. The area was perfect for us, minutes to the convention center. It was extremely convenient to have a parking spot in the back. We had no trouble getting in when we arrived. They were very friendly when I called to confirm our stay. There is a binder to welcome you with all of the information you may need while you are in the area. We were welcomed with a treat basket as well. Would recommend staying here if you are in the area!!

Bedrooms very nice, the decor is attractive, and for the price this is a very good deal. The first floor is pretty dark as it does not get much sunlight. We used the kitchen a lot and supplies could use some updating (new can opener, make sure there are enough dishes, etc.). Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.
