I had great memories of this spot from the 1980’s. But things can change a lot in 35 yrs:) Was pleasantly surprised. Best location. Beautiful beach. Friendly atmosphere. Place was clean. Linen package was excellent. It is dated, but everything worked well. We had one issue with the air conditioner but the property manager fixed it immediately. They were very efficient and helpful. I like rustic. So we were happy. It was clean. So we were happy. And the spot can not be beat., Very close to shopping jn Bethany. Also just a few minutes from Rehoboth. Indian river inlet is right there as well. One note. We read a negative review and were a bit worried. Everyone has their own needs. But this fit ours perfectly.’ The three bathrooms w showers worked well. Again.. it’s rustic. But it was clean. The showers worked well. Hot water was good pressure. The washer and dryer performed well, as did the dish washer. The view from the top floor bed room was amazing. You get the sunset in the bay and the ocean view as well. I’d rent this unit again. I think it comfortably could sleep 10. We only had 5 , but everyone was happy.

This property is dilapidated: the carpets are stained, the balconies are in dangerous sagging condition, the few pieces of furniture in the unit are in total disrepair (e.g., broken, cigarette stained, and filthy). We have rented VRBOs in Europe and across the US and this was the WORST property we’ve ever had the misfortune to stay at. Our children were afraid of their room after finding what appeared to be a condom wrapper under the bed. There was only one sagging old upholstered couch to sit on. The bathrooms and kitchens haven’t been updated in at least 20 Years and the balconies are affirmatively dangerous. If we’d had any other option, we would have left. Also, the day we arrived there were such large piles of trash and recycling at the front door that we had trouble reaching it without moving aside literal piles of strangers’ waste. So gross, not fit for any family. VRBO should remove this unfit property from its listings.
