The stay was great! I don't know what the question about the winery experience is referring to.

Perfect place to stay. Had everything we needed. Very clean and close to the hospital, which is why we were in Temple.

We were in town for a family reunion and this location was very good for being close to our other family. The neighborhood itself is a little bit sketchy but is in transition with renovation and improvement. We arrived on the Fourth of July and there were a lot of fireworks going off, but that quieted down before midnight. Communication with the owner was wonderful.

The house is comfortable and spacious, with great amenities. Everything needed for a stay--dishes, cookware, etc--was provided. Great communication, simple check-in, and clean environment. This home is located near great coffeeshops and breakfast options, and is easily accessible for travel. Strong mildew smell, particularly in the living room near the entrance. I have strong allergies to mildew and almost didn't stay. But I spent almost all of my one night stay in the bedroom, and it was significantly better in that room. One note: the house has some accessibility issues for seniors and/or wheelchair. The house is not advertised as accessible, so this was not a problem with the listing. I just didn't look closely enough at the photos. I was traveling with my senior parents, and my mother is in a wheelchair. The bathroom has swinging half-doors separating the toilet stall from the rest of the space, and the toilet is very low to the ground. The doors block some access by narrowing the doorway and make it difficult for seniors with bad knees to stand as they have nothing to hold onto in a space without grab handles. Again--the listing does not make any claims, so this is not a complaint. Just good for awareness!

This host anticipated all our needs and more. Everything was extremely clean and organized. She gave extra touches like a bag of ice in the freezere, fresh flowers and personalized note of welcome. I would highly recommend this host. The neighborhood appeared a little run down, but this by no way effected our stay due to the superb quality of the home. It was very quiet also.

I stayed here for about a month. Elizabeth had the place well stocked with plenty of supplies, even had some tennis balls outside for my dog. They are wonderful and thoughtful hosts. Neighborhood was safe and quiet which is important for a female traveler like me.

Super cute, newly renovated home. The neighborhood itself is a little sketchy, but the location is super convenient to Scott & White and central Temple. Only minutes away from the mall area. Inside everything is clean and new. Comfortable mattresses. 2 bed/1 bath. Fenced backyard for pets. Great communication with the friendly, local owner. Full size W/D & fully stocked kitchen. Definitely recommend staying here.
