Location was amazing with direct path/access to the beach and boardwalk to Seaside downtown (5 min walk). It's a spacious home with a big living room area to relax but views of beach can only be seen from the two bedroom upstairs. We were disappointed with the lack of maintenance for the home -- it definitely needed some TLC, such as devices that didn't work, replacing light blubs, grill was out of propane, peeling of dirty wall paper, dirty blankets and broken toilet paper hangers. Although the house is very old and charming, some minor maintenance can improve the stay. We were mostly disappointed to see a mouse and could hear them scratch behind the walls. There are plenty of kitchen and bathroom supplies.

Smell was unbearable! Urine soaked carpets! Windows almost none of which could be opened, signs telling you do not open!! Horribly misreprsented by pictures and property description!! Would never rent this again! Stay away! Had to go get a hotel! Could not stay!!

Property was as described with plenty of room. Lots of blankets and spare pillows made our stay very comfortable, as well as the multiple seating areas.

Great location- easy to walk to the beach and downtown area. Unfortunately you can’t open any windows and the AC small unit was not great so it was quite stuffy-one of the advantages of being so close to the ocean is the breeze/sound and all the windows said do not open.. other than that it was a good place and hard to beat the location!

WE ARE ACTIVE VRBO travelers and never had this issue. We love Seaside and the location was great. DON'T BOOK THIS UNLESS THE REPAIRS ARE CONFIRMED-7,000 for 5 nights for filth. The house was unsanitary. Urine soaked floors (carpet is also loose and bumpy) and the scent caused headaches and nausea. Couldn't air it out because most windows are broken. Primary bathroom flloor has black mold, we wore shoes to shower. Can't enjoy the fire pit because they don't provide chairs (other homes do). Shared my health and safety concerns on our second day but they said that was too late (although the maintenace gentleman said these are known issues and the property manager isn't doing anything about it. If you have to work during your stay, WiFi only works 50% of the time. Home is spacious but smelly and dirty with terrivle support.

It was ok. The house has a great location but it’s old and needs serious updating. For the price they ask we expected much more. We willNot be renting there again. You couldn’t open windows at the beach. And there’s no A/C. That alone was problematic and there were ants. We love the charm but it’s way past time for a refresh.

The property was exactly as listed, and had everything we needed for a family vacation and cooking in. Great location…. Close enough to walk to downtown but enough away from the crowds to have some beach to yourself.

Super old house. Funky and cool. All the amenities. Suggestions for place; Living Room lights are way too bright. Suggest replacing bulbs with a warmer light. Otherwise it’s a 5 star place.

It smelled, there was heat on a cold day, it is outdated and there is no maintenance-the radiator system does work and only one of the two space heaters worked while one window was falling out of the building - about a 2 inch crack around 1/2 of it and the upstairs windows did not close with the window cranks. Plus the only way to see the ocean is a glimpse from the upstairs.

First, this is a typical beach house in a great location. If you’re a pet owner, this property has a great fenced backyard to exercise and enjoy your pets. Both the beach and boardwalk are easy walks to cafes and grocery stores. There are great sleeping and family gatherings areas with Ocean views. Good value for a family gathering.. we will be back.

This house has a great location, and the good parts of it end there. It is a very old outdated house. Half the windows don’t open (or some don’t even close), there are radiators for heat that were filthy and full of dust and cobwebs, and it overall just needs to be updated. The floors slope and you can hear every single creak. Not only was it outdated but it was pretty dirty when we arrived. Dirty dishes were in the cupboard, hair was smeared all over the shower wall and one of the comforters was sticky and dirty. There were very few outlets in each room (just part of being an old house I guess). The beds were horribly uncomfortable-they creak and bounce. Overall it’s a great location but probably not worth the money you’ll save going to a newer property.

We rented this house to get married on the beach. The location was wonderful. However, when we arrived to the house, it was extremely dirty and all of the carpet smells like dog pee. They did come in and do additional cleanings which meant we had to leave for periods of time. And we ended up purchasing an odor eliminator spray and used half of the bottle for it to be manageable. If you have any kind of sense of smell, this place is not for you.

There are some downfalls to the property, in our case mainly windows that cannot be opened. It is not an updated or new property but the location outweighs the downfalls. For our family the location was worth the price.
