The Space:

The Salty Shellback is a freshly updated 1,841 sq ft coastal haven in Morgantown, designed for family beach vacations, multi-familytrips, grandparent getaways, golf trips, couples’ escapes, extended stays, and winter snowbird visits. Bright, airy interiors pair coastal décor with comfortable gathering spaces, while glimpses of the Gulf and outdoor areas invite relaxed time between beach days.



The open living and dining area offers new mattresses, furniture, bedding, a TV with streaming capabilities, a sound system, and a spacious dining table for shared meals, board games, and game nights. Stay comfortable with air conditioning, heating, ceiling fans, Wi-Fi, and a dedicated workspace.



The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, freezer, hot-water kettle, coffee maker, blender, toaster, wine glasses, baking sheet, cooking basics, and barbecue utensils. The coffee bar has a Keurig Duo for grounds or K-Cups and a Nespresso machine; a starter supply of Nespresso pods and syrup is provided.



Sleeping arrangements for up to 12 guests:

• Bedroom 1: King bed

• Bedroom 2: King bed

• Bedroom 3: Queen-over-queen bunk beds; the lower bunk is suitable for adults, while the upper bunk is for children/teenagers up to 200 lbs

• Bedroom 4: Two triple-twin bunk beds, sleeping up to 6 children; intended for children only, with upper bunks not for over 250 lbs collectively



Outside, enjoy a patio or balcony with comfortable outdoor furniture, backyard space for relaxing or play, a charcoal BBQ grill (please bring charcoal), and an alfresco shower for rinsing off sand and salt. A washer and dryer, baby-safety outlets, children’s books and toys, children’s dinnerware, board games, and life-size games add convenience for family stays.



Guest Access:

You will have private access to the entire home, including a private entrance with self check-in via smart lock, outdoor living areas, and free parking on the premises.



Your stay also includes access to two community pools, including one heated pool, a baby pool, tennis courts, and basketball hoops. Beach essentials include a beach cart, 4 beach chairs, and beach toys. At home, enjoy cornhole, the sound system, children’s books and toys, and a baby safety gate for the outdoor stairs.



A starter supply of paper products, trash bags, dishwasher soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion is provided. Depending on your stay length, additional supplies may be needed. A limited complimentary supply of coffee-bar syrup is included; please bring creamer, milk, preferred coffee add-ins, and coffee for the Keurig Duo.

Beach Access

The beach is a very short walk from the home using the community boardwalk beach access. No need to fight for parking or load the car for every beach trip. Grab your towels, beach bag, and chairs, and head straight to the sand. Fort Morgan Beaches are dog friendly but dogs must stay on a leash and in control by their owners.

Getting Around:

The property is about a 500 foot walk to the community board walk to the beach. There are 3rd party golf cart rentals available in the area. There is a Restaurant and market 1 mile from the home Called Sassy Bass. It is seasonal but so worth the visit.



Other Things to Note:

Three exterior security cameras are installed for guest safety and property protection. They monitor exterior areas only and do not view any interior spaces.



### Important Property Rules

* Check-in begins at 4:00 PM.

* Check-out is by 10:00 AM.

* Street parking is not permitted.

* Parties and events are not allowed.

* Smoking and vaping of any kind are prohibited within 50 feet of the home’s doors.



Before arrival, the primary booking guest must complete Sojourney’s electronic guest check-in form, successfully complete guest verification, provide a valid government-issued photo ID, and review and electronically sign the rental agreement. Check-in instructions, door codes, and property access information are released only after all required steps are completed. Failure or refusal to complete these requirements does not override the reservation’s cancellation policy or automatically qualify the reservation for a refund.

### Pet Policy

Up to two approved, non-shedding dogs are welcome for a fee of $75 per dog. Dogs must be crated whenever they are left unattended, kept on a leash while outside, and cleaned up after promptly. Certain breeds cannot be accepted because of insurance restrictions.

Legally recognized service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law and are not charged a pet fee. Service animals must remain under the handler’s control and may not be left unattended at the property.



These requirements apply to every reservation and help support guest safety, identity verification, fraud prevention, and lodging compliance.



Check-in instructions, door codes, and property access information will be released only after all required steps have been completed. Failure or refusal to complete the requirements does not override the reservation’s cancellation policy or automatically qualify the reservation for a refund. Guests are responsible for following all house rules, community regulations, policies, and property instructions. Violations may result in additional charges, removal from the property, or cancellation of the reservation without a refund.

Check-in is self-guided with keyless smart-lock entry. Property information, local recommendations, check-in instructions, door codes, and access details are provided through the Guesty App after required pre-arrival steps have been completed in the Guesty App.



The host will be available remotely to assist guests with any questions or needs that may arise during their stay. While the host will not be present at the property, support is readily accessible via the guest Gusty app or contact information provided. Available Monday-Sunday 8am-10pm.
