Stayed May 18, 2025I am an advid traveler, and I enjoy all types of lodging accommodations. However, this property was not presented as described. I never received check-in instructions nor the code to access the property even though the information was requested days before my arrival. Upon arriving to the property the exterior of the home was not maintain. The driveway was littered with multiple trash bags and empty alcohol content and the trash bin was full to capacity. A pile of trimmed tree brances were at the curb and the lawn was unkept. After a 6 hour road trip and attending a graduation ceremony at a nearby college, my family memers and I were exhausted (10 people) and we could not access the property for over an hour after arriving. This was most problematic for my 86 year old father and others who needed to use the bathroom. Within the interior of the home, there was a musty smell upon entry, one bedroom was a closet with a bed in it (your head and feet will touch both walls simultaneously). The bedroom in the basement had not curtain (it was laying across the washing machine). When I mentioned this to the property manager I was given the option to hang it up myself with the statement of I don't know why the cleaning person did not take care of this. Therefore the 2 adults that intended to sleep in this room did not because there was no privacy (ground level floor window was completely exposed). The cleaning person did not take care of anything. Showers/tubs needed a deep cleaning.
