Stayed Aug 13, 2023Property- fantastic. Many walks to forests/gardens/fells right from the property- Ferry to towns a 10 min walk. Grounds were charming- the kitchen is incredibly well kitted out for those who like to cook- very comfortable beds and the communication was great with the owners.

Stayed Apr 30, 2023The property owners are tremendous. Everything about staying at the house was special, including the dogs. WE were there over a bank holiday weekend. The traffic was awful and would recommend staying away from this area on major holidays.

Stayed Jul 3, 2022We were a family of 4 + 2 grandparents. This rental served as a super base for exploring the lakes. The property was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking evening meals and we enjoyed playing the board games provided. We also used the fire pit and outdoor space dedicated for this unit. The beds were VERY comfortable! Thank you for a fabulous stay. We will be back!

Stayed Jul 8, 2022The property is amazing beautiful setting , characterful building excellent decor and facilities. Gillian was a a wonderful host helpful and friendly. The views of the lake stunning and walking straight into the fells from the back gate was so convenient. No need to use the car.
