Perfect location, private, close to everything, and just a short walk to beach

Wonderful home! Close to beach, parking pass was a true gift. The pool was outstanding!

Nice house in a nice neighborhood. Plenty of room/space. Just a short 10 minute walk to the beach. There are bikes in the garage if you rather ride. Private pool is nice to get in any time of the day. Property manager replies quickly.

Our family of 6 (4 kids ranging in age 17-24), had a great vacation getaway. The neighborhood location was perfect for a little more privacy and quiet. The walk to the beach was pretty easy if you didn't want to take the car (although the parking pass was awesome, too). We all loved the pool and crows nest deck. The games and lower level were great for rainy days. Great communication and information from the hosts. We will definitely book here again.

The owners were great to work with and quick to respond to sent messages. The pool was awesome. Home was clean and in a great location.

We had the perfect week. The house had everything you need. We felt at home. The heated pool was awesome on the cool days. The passes for the parking at the beach was a nice extra. We loved the area. Short relaxed walk to the beach. I would book this home again.

We absolutely LOVED Pegleg Paradise. The pictures do not do this booking justice. There is so much space for everyone to hangout together or separate for down time. I was in awe at how spacious and private the master bedroom was. The walk to the beach is so close that we watched several sun and moon rises. The location is a quick drive to surrounding areas or you can plan an easy day trip to Orcacoke. We were so sad to leave as we truly enjoyed this home away from home with all its amenities. The pool was perfect and where we spent many days just lounging. Would definitely book again!

Clean and comfortable, great location on the outer banks, the little extras including local beach parking passes, beach chairs and bikes made the stay that much better. Used the pool every day and the game room area was the center of evening activity.

We just stayed at this property last week! It was a great house, great location and great hosts!

This was our first trip to OBX and are so happy that we selected this rental. Its located in a mostly residential area with houses tucked into the trees. A short distance away is the sound where you can view amazing sunsets. The beach is located only a few blocks away. As a nature loving family, we were delighted to see pelicans fly over the beach, little ghost crabs and quirky sand pipers running about. Around the house we saw multiple deer. The space itself was furnished beautifully for a family, was very clean and the host was easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful time. The house was great and met all our needs! Pool was wonderful! The owner was so helpful and communicated often, which we loved. We will definitely be booking in the future.

The property owner is very attentive to the needs of the guests. Great communication and pleasant to deal with. The house has a cool layout and the owners have a ton of beach chairs, toys, and equipment for guests to use. We really enjoyed our stay!

First of all, and most importantly, Peggy is the BEST VRBO owner I’ve ever dealt with yet - she answered my million questions prior to the trip without any hesitation, and I honestly felt very prepared knowing what to expect at the house. Pegleg Paradise had it all - it easily accommodated our big family trip with 3 families under one roof (and that isn’t easy to do). The master bedroom is huge, and the master bath is wonderful too, with a shower and a tub! My husband and two of our kids under two stayed in that one room. The other two upstairs bedrooms are smaller but still great with queen sized beds! My two favorite things about the house itself were the screened in porch - we ate almost every meal out there and it was great for all of our kids because it’s enclosed, and the downstairs living area. My parents stayed in the downstairs and absolutely loved it, as it was their own space. The game room design with the tv downstairs was great at night to wind down. My husband even stayed up many nights to play board games with the bigger kids and you cannot hear them while in the bedroom (huge plus). The pool was great and perfect for those super hot days or when you don’t want to tackle the beach. The beach was a close walk and we walked down every day. Recommend watching the sunrise one day - absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend Pegleg Paradise to anyone going to OBX but especially those looking for a house who can accommodate multiple families, comfortably.

Pegleg Paradise is a delightful oasis of green, calm, and relaxation amidst an otherwise busy beach scene during peak season. The accommodations are so hospitable you really don’t need to leave the house in order to have a good vacation. A fully stocked kitchen, stargazing from the rooftop, floating in the pool, deer watching in the back yard, grilling by the pool, toasting s'mores over the fire pit, playing board games and corn hole. What more could you want? Well, right, there’s the beach. And you have two beaches to choose from that are easily accessible by short drive or walk. All of the necessary beach amenities are at your fingertips- boogie boards, umbrella, chairs. I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful, welcoming property and hosts. Thank you for giving my family such a warm and inviting environment in which to make memories!

Host provided a well equiped kitchen for our family to cook together Home was spacious on the two living levels and the roof level deck was nice. Furniture was plentiful for front deck, back deck, screened in dining area and pool deck. Very cozy.

We haven’t been in a vacation in many years! We are extremely happy with the location and home! The amenities were just right. We enjoyed the pool and the view. Also perfect distance from the beach.
