All You Need, Excellent Family-friendly & quiet location

Our family spent two wonderful weeks in this lovely, perfectly equipped home in East Chop in Oak Bluffs. Fall is the best time to enjoy this special island, after all the summer visitors have departed. Brenda and David’s home is delightful with large bedrooms with comfy beds, a great first floor layout, a super lower level that kids and grown-ups will love relaxing in and a spectacular back deck and stone patio with a motorized awning, lots of seating, barbecue grill, a great fire pit and even an amazing pizza oven.The kitchen is set up with everything you will need. And plenty of connectivity in case someone needs to work remotely while on the island like our son did.Thanks so much, Brenda and David, for sharing this special spot with us. We had a wonderful visit!

This home was well organized, well apportioned, and thoughtfully made for vacationing families. The outdoor space was a dream: the fire pit, pizza oven, and long outdoor table made dinners outside a dream, and plenty of fireside socializing afterward. There was space to work upstairs and down, so for those of us who didn't get the entire week off from work, we were able to get our stuff done quickly and get back to vacationing. Kitchen had everything, and the living room and dining room were spacious enough for our party of six with room left over. We would definitely stay here again!

Oh, Martha's Vineyard, you had me at Hello Summer! But you had me wrapped around your little island finger when we found this vacation rental gem in East Chop, Oak Bluffs. Let's start with the kitchen, shall we? I mean, seriously, I haven't seen a kitchen this inviting since my grandma's house, and she could whip up a mean batch of cookies! From the moment we stepped in, I knew we were in for a culinary adventure. Now, I'm not saying we spent the entire vacation in the kitchen, but let's just say that if the Food Network ever decides to film an episode here, I'm ready for my close-up! I made pancakes that would make a professional chef weep with envy. And when it comes to lobster rolls, I may have achieved a level of perfection that rivals the island's sunsets. But the magic didn't stop at the stove. Oh no! This cottage came with an outdoor space that practically begged for a sitcom montage. There were these charming Adirondack chairs where I spent my mornings sipping coffee and plotting my day's adventures. And when the sun dipped below the horizon, I found myself by the fire pit, toasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the starry sky. The outdoor dining area was equally impressive-grilling seafood was a delight. All in all, this vacation rental cottage was an absolute delight. If you know how to read a map and don’t mind a dirt road— you will find a getaway that combines gourmet cooking and outdoor relaxation. Clean, updated, with great communication.

This property is exactly as depicted in the images! We used the fire pit almost every night- it had an incredibly clean burning pit called a Solo stove- clean burning meaning once it gets going- very little smoke! We are actually first time renters but long time Island visitors so we were very nervous about using VRBO but we were immediately put at ease. Great cool AC, wonderfully decorated home and we felt welcomed by the host and treated very well. We are already saving our pennies to go back again next year. A great family house managed by a great family!! Did we mention the outdoor shower? It's awesome!! Thanks again to our hosts we we can't say enough about this perfect home.

More than expected. Warm house with plenty of space. Well kept. Make sure you have an SUV for the roads !

This was one of the best stocked homes I've ever stayed in - they had everything. Located close to town, but quiet and peaceful.

We had five adults and one child, but this house would be great for families with more children -- we didn't use the bunk room at all. My daughter enjoyed spending time in the basement, and the adults had plenty of space to spread out on the main floor. All the bedrooms were large. The outdoor space was beautiful. We were there in October, and nights were peaceful and quiet. We'd definitely stay here again. Super convenient to both Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs -- driving had us downtown in 5ish minutes. We had a lovely stay. If I was being picky: the pillows were super soft, which isn't my favorite. The Avenue is unpaved and upgraded and would be tough to navigate if your car doesn't have a fair amount of clearance (obviously not within the owner's control, but I was glad we carpooled because I couldn't have made it in my Corolla).

Our experience was amazing. The house was so clean and very, very well stocked. It was a short walk into Oak Bluffs and the other houses around were very quiet. I would highly recommend this rental!!!
