Stayed Mar 14, 2026Host was very responsive to questions. The cottage is very comfortable. The location was great for seeing many of the natural wonders and for roadside fishing. The listing for the cottage needs to be updated with current pictures. The cottage no longer contains a table to sit at. The furniture and throw pillows could use a deep cleaning, but otherwise the cottage was very clean. We truly enjoyed our stay

Stayed Aug 9, 2024Everything was as advertised, clean, comfortable and easy access to all things in the area. Good ole fashioned Florida town, where good fishing and eating are the topics for discussion. We went to see the skunk ape. We had a great time. Except for the skeeters , I would move there in a minute. But they are en masse. We knew when we came they are at the worst in June through September but we survived. Hope it’s not another 20 years before we go back to that area. You must drive Loop Road off Tamiami Road. An amazing drive that’s FREE.

Stayed Mar 31, 2024Great job for exploring Everglades City and the national park. Walkable to pretty much all restaurants in Everglades City, and exceptional communication and hospitality by Owner. Our second year in a row staying here and we'll be back!

Stayed Feb 5, 2024We rode our bicycles around this tiny town for a week—— and over to Chockaloskie. Coming back to our rental was always fun.
