Stayed Mar 13, 2026Let me just say..you get what you pay for. The pictures are just what this home looks like. It could really be a nice home but...it is so outdated. From the kitchen to the bathrooms. It smells old!! The beds were pretty comfortable but the rest of the furniture is awful. Sunken couch to sunken recliners..but I was glad to see the 2 recliners cause the pics only show a couch. Furniture needs to be thrown away. The dining table chairs are awful..cushions come off and they are worn. Why 2 dining rooms?? Needs to be more sitting furniture. Even the ottoman was peeling severely. None of the decor matches. It would not take much money to invest in updates. The sinks are cracked..oh and nott o forget..I'm not to sure it was actually clean. Shouldn't have to wonder if something is clean. The kids took showers with their shower shoes on!!!the neighborhood was nice. Add a grill and more backyard furniture. Update the inside furniture and buy new sinks, replace existing caulk around sinks and showers. replace shower curtains and the shower railing that doesnt even need to be there...it would be a really nice place. Take some pride in YOUR RENTAL

Stayed Apr 24, 2025Plenty of room and sleeping arrangements. Good location to the Stockyards. The house is dated and needs some work. Air conditioner didn’t cool the upstairs bedrooms (3) very well but would freeze the down stairs. Very noisy house with any movement.

Stayed Apr 16, 2025This property is needing some renovation, the floors are seriously soft! the flooring is coming apart. It was adequate for what we needed, but we were expecting to be able to sit in the sun. There was no lawn furniture, There was a bench, but it was sketchy to sit on ,back broken. Wasps nests all along the backside of the house. The skillets that we used to cook on were pretty bad, we were almost afraid to use them. Many things were good, but others like the bugs and spiders in the 1st floor shower, was alarming. the sink on the left needed the set screw tightened the handle came off, and the right sink the overflow inlet was black with rust and scum, not very appetizing to brush our teeth. The house could have been a great place with just a little effort. It was disappointing..

Stayed Feb 14, 2025I personally enjoyed my stay. But I went with a team from work and many complained about the floors because they made a lot of noise when walking on them (the laminate floors creaked). They said when people used the restroom at night or early in the morning people would be woken up. The home is older on the inside and some coworkers equated that to dirty but I did not mind it at all. I personally would stay in this home again but not all of my coworkers would agree with that statement.

Stayed Oct 31, 2024Check in process was simple and clear. This is an older home, and it shows. In particular, the subflooring has a lot of give, and one faucet in the master bath was sitting loose on the counter when we arrived. Yes, the driveway is very steep at the curb; just take it at an angle and you'll be fine. We did have one issue that I brought to the owner's attention after departure, and while owner responded courteously, I don't know the outcome of that situation. We stayed three nights, and overall, the house exceeded my expectations. Would generally recommend.
