Perfect Family Beach House - Steps from the Beach - Beautiful Fire Island Home

We had a fantastic time at this house and would highly recommend it to anyone. The house is set up perfectly for kids and family and is steps away from the beach. The owners have provided everything you need to enjoy the area from bikes to beach chairs and equipment. We will definitely be going back.

The title in the listing says it all, Perfect Family Beach House. The house location was perfect, very close to the beach for a quick walk back for lunch and a short walk to town. Large and private deck with plenty of shade, large living area, quite location, fully air conditioned, very clean and very comfortable. House had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation at the beach with family. I especially enjoyed the wonderful outdoor shower. We have rented in Ocean Beach many times and Todd and his son Julian were the best hosts we have ever had. They were very quick to respond to questions, provided all information needed for an easy check in/out and made our stay that much better. My family and I had a wonderful time.

Excellent in every way. Everything else advertised and more. Plenty of towels, beach, chairs, etc., etc. No real negatives. House is even closer to the beach than advertised.

We were looking to rent a place with 3 or 4 bedrooms on Fire Island for me, my wife, our infant son, and his grandparents to spend a relaxing week — with a few other relatives popping in for the day or overnight. This house was wonderful in every respect: - well-equipped kitchen next to a lovely living and dining area, all very open and comfortable - great deck with barbecue and outdoor shower, tables and lounges - just steps from the beach (two minutes max) - close enough to “downtown” Ocean Beach shops and restaurants but not close enough to hear the drunken nightlife - 4 comfortable bedrooms, all well insulated from the sounds of the rest of the house, all air conditioned. - 2 full baths plus a private hot outdoor shower - beach chairs, towels, bikes, etc We had an idyllic time just relaxing, biking, walking through the picturesque towns, grabbing ice cream, swimming in the ocean - with a lovely space to come back to each day. Exactly what we had hoped for. Highly recommended, and we hope to return ourselves.

House was very clean and in a great location. Super close to the beach and a quick walk into town. We enjoyed our stay.

Great house, excellent location near town and truly just steps from the beach. The house itself is in great shape and just as advertised. The layout of the home, with the bedrooms away from the living room/kitchen, was great for privacy. Todd was a helpful landlord. All in all, we hope to be back!
