Perfect couples retreat, large deck, 4 blocks to beach-Spyglass Inn

Kitchen well stocked and appliances were new and easy to use. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck with lots of chairs and tables outside. Manzanita is a great little town, not as touristy as Cannon Beach and close to some great hikes.

We loved the peacefulness of the location and good access to the beach.We also really appreciated all the amenities for cooking.

We were only there a couple of days, but the house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space. We didn’t do much cooking but I do like it when houses we rent are fully stocked, which this one was. The place was clean and easily accessible too. The ONLY complaint that I have, and this isn’t specific to this house but most places these days, is the check-out time. It is unduly early, and granted we pushed it, and there were no cleaners knocking at the door, so why not just give us that extra time? It can be in case by case basis based on whether the place is booked the next day. Just a note to this and any other host reading this.

The house is just a short walk to a gorgeous part of the beach. It was perfect for our kids to play in the water and sand, skim board, fly Kites, or just hang out. We were a short drive from wonderful places to hike and explore tide pools or go to a nice restaurant. Manzanita was definitely our speed- we could go get coffee or explore cute shops but it was nothing close to as busy and congested as places like Cannon Beach. People were really friendly, too.The house was also great for us. It was well stocked, comfortable and plenty spacious for the four of us. Would definitely recommend!
