Perfect Blend of Historic and New with a Great Location- Walk to everything!

We chose this property because it was close to local family. What we got was not only that but also just minutes away from all the sites of downtown Washington DC! This property is also so much better in person than in pictures. It is spacious, has so many amenities that I cannot begin to describe but suffice it to say I felt like I was living at someone’s private, beautifully designed and maintained, home. There were 8 of us and didn’t use all the space in this 3 story property. I will definitely check availability for my next visit to the DC area.

This home is lovely - it truly is a mix of historic and new. Decor is homey and classic; at the same time, amenities are all updated. We didn’t use the backyard barbecue but I can imagine how fun it might be to utilize the yard in warmer weather. Parking is easy enough with two alley spaces behind the house but street parking is also an option. The home is walking distance to many restaurants, coffee houses, shops, and the Alexandria waterfront. Jaki provided clear check-in and check-out instructions, and was extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Wonderful host with great communication. The house was fully stocked and decorated beautifully for Christmas! This is a great location for many attractions and activities.

This property is amazing! The house is beautiful inside and the outside space is great for relaxing with coffee or a cocktail. You can walk to everything from this location including the Metro. The off street parking is a definite plus. Everything was perfect! We will definitely come back!

I came for my daughters graduation. We fitted everyone comfortable. Super close to town and a lovely back yard for grilling and hanging out. I can’t say enough about this property!

The house exceeded our expectations! The well stocked kitchen was greatly appreciated, the neighborhood was great - safe for walks with tons of food and coffee and a park nearby. Comfortable beds, enjoyable yard. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful week staying in this home. The location is perfect. Easy walk to the Metro for our busy days in the city. Quiet street with parking right at the house. The house is fully stocked with every need anticipated. Thank you very much!

Celebrating my last marathon with my BFFs was only that more enjoyable by staying in this wonderful house perfectly situated in Old Town, near the metro and so close to the airport. The host was so responsive and flexible with our arrangements and the house was perfectly set up for what we needed with rooms/beds. Can't say enough about this wonderful weekend.

The house was amazing. It fit our family of 6 adults well and was very well stocked. The location was excellent with easy access to all of Old Town. The pastry shop Fresh Baguette two blocks down has great pastries. We were so busy we didn’t get to use the outdoor space but it is amazing and would have been great.

Stayed here with a group of friends for a girl’s trip and loved the property! Very charming, well decorated, and BIG space in an excellent location with easy parking. We didn’t do any cooking while there but the kitchen seemed well stocked as well. Would absolutely recommend and visit again!

Great house and yard. Had the most amazing tree in the back yard that brought peace and stillness to the whole property. Would rent this house again and again!

The property was exactly as described. Everything was clean and the owners were super responsive if we weren’t sure about where something was. The area is extremely nice as well with the property located a short walk away from great restaurants, bars, and entertainment. The parking in the rear was a tight fit (but I drive a truck so that was expected) but plenty of parking on the street more than made up for it. The fact that it turned out to be less than 15 mins from the airport was great too! Overall 10/10 and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to accommodate a large group (or family) traveling to Alexandria!
