Awe-inspiring views of the sunrise and sunset, playful marine life, and large ships passing through await at this oceanfront home in Clinton, where the sparkling blue of Puget Sound extends out before you. Take walks on the beach mere steps away and end each evening soaking in the hot tub beneath a sky full of stars.
This two-story, waterfront home sits in a quiet neighborhood near the southern tip of Whidbey Island, at the end of a dead-end road that lies along the beautiful beach at Scatchet Head. It's a serene, spectacular setting along a rocky bank, but it's also convenient for exploring. The Clinton Ferry Terminal (eight miles), picturesque downtown Langley (11 miles), and Double Bluff Beach (13 miles) are all close by.
Step out onto the back deck each morning to sip your coffee and watch for bald eagles, curious otters, and the occasional pod of orcas. It's a wonderful spot to return to in the afternoons and evenings, offering a gas grill and both a dining table and a firepit at the water's edge.
The same majestic view is on display throughout the house - in the loft (which includes a telescope for wildlife spotting), both the downstairs bedroom and the upstairs bunk room, and the living room with its floor-to-ceiling windows. The living space is flooded with light, creating a scenic setting for cooking in a well-equipped kitchen (including a wine fridge), sitting down to breakfast at the table, and reading the newspaper by the gas fireplace.
When you feel like resting, any of the four private sleeping areas ensure your comfort. Complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer are on hand as well.

We spent three wonderful days during the Christmas holiday. The homeowners had a beautiful Christmas tree and other decorations. They left us a local wine and Seattle chocolates, which was very thoughtful. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was very clean and located a few steps from the living room door. There is a beautiful south facing view of the Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier. Overall we had a wonderful stay!
Great location and views. The house was well stocked and we enjoyed the hot tub.
Beautifully kept, cozy atmosphere
Lovely location right on the water. Nice large house with a good layout for family gatherings.
Loved the location, being able to walk to the beach and to the small local park for the grandchildren. The sunsets were amazing and the space perfect for our family get away. We enjoyed the sport games and beach toys too!
Absolutely amazing! The projector movie night was awesome! Love they have kid toys (cause “new” other people’s toys are always better than ours ha)! The best views and listening to the ocean all night through the screen doors! The boat ramp was fun to put our toes in the water and sit down there as well by the water! Beach to explore just down the driveway! Absolutely amazing birthday weekend! Hope to be back!!
This home was a wonderful get away for our family. We enjoyed taking walks on the private beach and looking for crabs and sea shells. We relaxed by sitting in the hot tub every evening as we watched the sunset. It was close to the ferry and quiet and peaceful. It is in a private community where the only people there live there or rent it like we did. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Consider bringing a tennis racket, pickleball equipment or basketball to enjoy the nearby courts.
The ocean front hot tub experience was amazing. We enjoyed exploring the beach at both high and low tide. Really enjoyed watching all the big ships and the sea life. A perfect beach house getaway.
