Marion, Massachusetts
This is a great house in Marion Village within half a mile of both the beach and the center of town. It has an upgraded bathroom, kitchen, and new outside deck. It is on a very quiet street, has a driveway for 3 cars, and has a huge yard.
The kitchen has 2 big sliders on two sides, creating tons of sunlight in the kitchen throughout the day.
The house is 1,331 sq ft on a 9,626 sq ft lot. There is also a garage on the lot, though not currently usable.
My wife and I, our young adult son and cat stayed a month in Marion and loved it. We were waiting to close on a house in MetroWest Boston and wanted a quiet place to relax before we finished a cross country move but needed access to the Boston area and an airport. We found it in Marion Center at this house. We went for relaxing walks through to the water just a few hundred yards away, along the quiet Marion roads past lovely houses into town either to the General Store or for a great lunch at Kate's. We loved dinners out at Brewfish and pizza from Rustico. The house is perfect for several adults or a family. It is well equipped and anytime I had a question the owner Jaime responded super quickly with the answer. I highly recommend staying here!
The home was very comfortable- home away from home
Jamie’s place is very comfortable and clean. Our family really enjoyed staying here.
This home is spacious, tasteful, warm and inviting. The yard and deck are huge, there are up to 5 bicycles provided for cruising around town, a short walk to beach. Every friend and family member that stopped by to visit commented on how great the property is. We loved our stay!
Great house, spacious, lots of room for our 4 adults. We especially enjoyed having a porch as well as a deck. Great gardens outside, great art inside. We enjoyed seeing the children's artwork. Definitely a 5 star.
More of problem with VRBO - still waiting for refund which has not been paid even after 2 weeks. VRBO needs to be more explicit and transparent about the timing of the security deposit with all the time it's having the benefit of huge float on the cumulative deposit from all its customers. This is a major shortcoming and problem with VRBO taking advantage of the customer.
Easy access to beach and downtown Marion.
This home in so close to the center of Marion. Extremely quiet, birds can be heard all day long. Quaint New England home , very comfortable. The local beach is a 15 minute walk or minutes by car. It was so nice to walk my 2 dalmatians. It was the end of June and a local farmer was selling incredibly delicious native strawberries. People are very friendly and you are not far from great places to see. Local seafood markets are open, and restaurants are great. Owners friendly and responsive. You will enjoy your stay here.
Very nice house in a quiet neighborhood. The house has everything you need just bring your clothes. Short walk to the beach and town center. Marion is a very quaint town.
The property is well kept and comfortable. Located about 3 blocks from the town beach it is a perfect location for a family with young children. It is a short walk downtown to the general store (don't miss the fabulous Cape Cod Clam Chowder), Kates Simple Eats, the Book Stall, and (around the corner) the (ice cream) Creamery. While only residents can park at the beach before 5 pm, it makes no difference because it is so close to the house. If you are looking for ocean front, this is not for you; but for the many other wonderful vacation possibilities this is a great choice.
