Peoria Home w/ Fenced-In Yard & Patio!

We arrived after dark and couldn't see the house #s. I used my phone's light to get in. There are 3 light switches next to the front door, all of them did not turn any lights on inside or out!! After contacting the manager the next day, he said use the switches down the hall from front door.The house had to be remodeled by a do-it-yourselfer. Most of the ceiling fans were wired on a dimmer switch and unless the dimmer is full on, the remote control does not turn the fan on. The kitchen was remodeled and the receptacle for the refrigerator was located in a cabinet next to it but the cord was too short and there is an extension cord rolled up in the cabinet to supply power. The ice maker had the water turned off. The laundry sink is connected by hoses rather than being supplied water with proper piping. The house was clean and we were supplied with many linins but very few cooking pans, dishes and glasses (4 stemmed glasses is all we had). I would expect a cabin in a remote area being wired like this but not in Phoenix.

The property is nice, neighborhood is peaceful, communication when needing help and assistance……NO EXISTENT. Literally waited over an hour to receive the 4 digit code to enter the home. Called and texted the owner and got no reply until checkout day. Called VRBO and had to wait almost two hours to connect to an actual assistant. What’s done is done, and no resentment held, but I have to be honest. The communication needs major improvement.

For the most part, our state was very comfortable. Everything was easy access communication with the owner was great. The only thing that needs to improve is the fixing of the dryer. It took me over eight hours to dry one load of laundry and it was a small load and the AC at one point did stop working however the owner did come fix it the next day. The owner is a very nice person. I would recommend this Home for a rental.

So I guess overall I guess on the site level there could’ve been a little bit better communication of extra towels! Overall, when we first walked in, I thought wow very nice place! But the sofa in the main area where you can sit and watch television really needs to be tossed very uncomfortable! The master bath the shower never turned hot. I spoke to the gentleman and he said he would come by the next day and look at it. Unfortunately, we left Wednesday, but I did tell him that we’ll just kinda deal with it with taking cold showers the other shower on the other hand worked so I guess overall it was an issue I guess the most uncomfortable part of all of this is that if you’re gonna be charged a cleaning fee, the house should be tiptop immaculate! You can’t walk in the house barefoot unless you want black feet, drawers in the bathroom I pulled out draws to try to put some stuff in of course they’re covered in hair and of course, the toilets on the outside you can still see urine stains! We didn’t stay long, but all I could think was man thank God!

Clean and quiet. Perfect for larger groups than just the two of us, but it suited our needs. Thank you.

It was pretty clean and easy to get to, but everything was a little broken or tired. Dryer makes a funny noise dishwasher old and super loud. It was just take a little bit to make it a bit better. Better couch, better lighting, matching furniture , a few more dishes. I don’t usually write a review but it was a little disappointing.

The house was family friendly. The host was easily reachable. We had everything we needed and felt at home.

Satisfactory. Had some issues. Ice maker wasn't working in the fridge. No details about the many light switches in the house and how they worked. Actually many things that would have been helpful if there would have been something online or in a book that told us about the many things in the house.
