Stayed Oct 14, 2022Myself and 3 friends had a girls weekend away and the house was perfect. Had everything we needed. The views were amazing and so relaxing. You could go for walks along the rocks/beach or just relax on the balcony. We had the added bonus of having two whales arrive and spend ages playing right out the front of the house on Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The location of the property is ideal - right at a beach and headland, with wonderful views of the ocean, but we felt it needed a little TLC, and could have been cleaner. MORE IMPORTANTLY, the description of the property does not include mention of the rooms downstairs that are locked, that you have no access to. In effect, YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE WHOLE PROPERTY. It was raining at the time of our arrival, so we were annoyed to discover that you could not access the property via downstairs - the downstairs door is marked “PRIVATE” and you have no key to it, so we were forced to take all our bags up the outdoor stairs, which are extremely slippery in the rain. Also, the downstairs deck is only accessible via the bedroom downstairs or by going down the front outdoor stairs and walking around the back of the house. The only rooms downstairs that you have access to are 2 bedrooms, bathroom and the laundry. The windows could do with a good clean as well as the outside of the property. The location was ideal but some TLC is definitely needed and the property description needs to be corrected. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs but all the living areas are upstairs, this property would not suit anyone with a wheelchair or anyone who has difficulty with stairs.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The views from and location of Penzance were fantastic. Unfortunately we had quite a few problems with the electrical wiring- requiring an electrician to attend friday night and then we continually had to re-set the electrical circuit over the weekend, if we put more than the fridge and one other appliance on the same circuit. Then the dishwasher completely stopped! So we were rather frustrated. It probably needs an upgrade!
