You can actually see the ocean from the top balcony. Adorable little place. Comfortable and lots of outdoor seating to listen to the ocean in the evenings. Can walk to lots of places to eat and shop. I’d recommend visiting the pool off Kinakeet blvd over the Vacasa pool. We have stayed with Vacasa in the OBX before so we went to that pool out of habit. On the last day we went to the Kinakeet pool and were sad we didn’t go sooner. It’s very nice and much quieter.

This home is perfect for a couple or small family. Only one flight up to the living area, which was all on one level . Good for someone who finds stairs a chore. Beach access was close by. Would stay here again.

The location was great. We staid 2 weeks and enjoyed the comfy cottage. We have been coming to Avon since 1985 and would considered coming back to this cottage in the future.

Overall the home was good, however, the carpet had noticeable pet stains and was in need of replacing. There needs to be dark curtains in the master bedroom as the neighbor had a flood light directed in the back and had to put my beach towels up to block out the light. The screen door needs to be replaced as there are sharp wires sticking out that will cut you. Overall the home was nice, great location to the beach. The view from the balcony provided a tiny partial view of the ocean with plenty of chairs.

Compact space, not too big, not cramped either. Older construction, but decently maintained. Refreshing minimum of seaside kitsch.

House was nice and clean. Plugs in house need updated, washer did not spin and clothes had to be rung out by hand . Other then those things house was very nice and easy walk to beach.

We have stayed in this house numerous times over the past ten years - it seems to be showing some wear - Had a septic issue that took a week to be addressed. Screen door was broken, Reported the issue - never heard back. The house was not very clean when we arrived.
