Pelican Paradise Unit B

I will start with the pros of this property- the location cannot be beat. If you are looking for easy beach access in a non crowded location this your spot. This is my fourth time staying in the neighborhood and it’s the best kept secret of 30A. It is a big house accommodating large families. The ice maker was great to have and the lower level beverage fridge. Loved outdoor shower. Cons- the lower level French doors from entry and one of the bedrooms were blocked with 24 sandbags making it impossible to use those exits. Only exit was through the garage. We called about this but were told they could not be removed. I would think this is a liability when considering that the exits are blocked in an emergency situation like a fire. This should have been disclosed. I guess there is a flooding problem? The dryer did not work well and towels needed to go through 3 cycles to completely dry and the size of the loads were normal. The shower in the bedroom on second level has a seal problem and leaks water everywhere. We could never figure out how to turn the lights on in living room never locating the switch. The dishwasher was not attached securely and when loaded would tip forward making it dangerous to handle. The wine fridge was not working. The kitchen was not well equipped like described. Only had 2 wineglasses, 6 coffee mugs, the kettle was completely rusted and not usable, no measuring spoons. Pots and pans were rough too. On the upper level primary suite, most of the outlets were not working. After taking cold showers for 2 days we finally discovered that the cold and hot controls were opposite. The hand held shower head had no holder and just draped over the main shower head. The bath tub faucet was loose and easily could come out. Pool was not used by us but did look like it could use a good cleaning. This property could be so amazing if the upkeep was maintained and repairs were made. We enjoyed our time at this location.

The location was couldn't have been better! The house was set up perfect with 5 bedrooms for our family with additional bunk beds.

Great location and not too crowded beach. House was perfect for our family. Lots of room to spread out. The entrance was hard to find considering it was through the garage. Took us awhile our first day finding out how to get in. The AC in the master on the second floor went out on our 5th day and they sent someone out to fix it but it didn’t get fixed. Property manager was easy to get a hold of and they even brought us a hose to help wash off sand when we requested one. Very helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Only wish you could view the beach from the second floor. The dunes are high next to the noise and there are bushes that blocked the view. View from third floor was wonderful however there was no patio furniture there to sit and enjoy the view which I found odd. Great vacation.

The house is set up very well for families, beautiful views, located right on the beach betweeb Rosemarry and Seaside. Lots of bikeable restaurants and shops. Great communication and the water pressure in the showers was amazing! Great stay!

Location is good, close to beach is a plus. But house is very old and has so many issues.1. There were no locks to any of the bathrooms. Bathrooms that are in hallways also has no locks2. For bedrooms, bathrooms has glass doors and no lock to bedroom doors. We faced very difficulty especially with children, we took shower with a fear that kids may open the bathrooms.3. For one of the bedroom, while taking shower water started coming our of the shower door. Due to lack of proper insulation water was coming out of the shower to bedroom.4. Hot water was a major issue. we took showers without hotwater.5. for the bacthroom which is close the kitchen, it has a very bad smell. We always have to turn the fan on in the bathroom.

Hello we did enjoy our stay at this unit. However when we arrived the first level smelled horrible like sewage. The cleaning crew came back but it was nothing that they could do. Then on Saturday the toilets started to back up on the first and second level. This unit has great views and is more intact than the A side.

Location was perfect. Beautiful views and quiet street. The home was a little older but the host did well with the updates. Very spacious with plenty of room for our party to spread out. We loved our stay.

We had a wonderful experience at the beach property. Being able to walk right up to the stunning beach was a highlight, making it easy to enjoy the sand and surf anytime we wanted. The house itself was spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to relax, and the comfortable interior made it feel like home. Overall, it was the perfect setting for a beach getaway.

Relaxing, great location

We loved the location and the layout of the house. Guest service was quick to respond to the third floor air conditioner not coming on upon our arrival. We could not find a plunger the last day when 2nd floor bathroom clogged. Our only complaints are that the elevator did not work the entire duration of our stay and the beach chair service guy did not respond/setup. Also, some outdoor lights were not working.

You can not beat the view. The house could definitely be cleaned up better and use some tlc. Especially for the amount you're charged for the cleaning fee. There was trash in the garage and all over outside the back deck area. The pool area is very unkempt, unlike shown in the pictures. There were a lot of things inside the house that didn't work, but nothing major. We had a small issue with the air conditioning and it was fixed almost immediately after reporting it. Overall it was a beautiful view and as long as you're not expecting a perfectly kept beach house, it was money well spent!

our group of 12 adults have now enjoyed this location for 3 years in a row. Rooms are perfect for us and the location and amenities are as advertised. Very close to restaurants, shopping and especially the grocery store. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting the perfect beach vacation.

Lots of issues with the house and management wasn’t available to answer. Dryer didn’t work, a/c went out, flooding due to rain filled elevator shaft and wasn’t fixed. We love the location but the house needs better cleaners and maintenance. In our contract it said we would have beach chair set up and a paddle board. I called and emailed daily and never got a response . Contract wasn’t honored .

We had an awesome stay at Pelican Paradise! The house comfortably fit 15 and being right on the beach was incredible! It rained quite a bit during our stay so there was some water leakage in the garage but it didn't appear to leak into the basement. The house was very well equipped with cookware and dishes so cooking at home was no issue. Would definitely recommend this home for a larger group!
