The house was very cozy and comfortable. Great place to relax after walking around downtown Fredericksburg.

My husband and I just checked out today and we already miss this house so much! We wanted a nice peaceful getaway & we definitely got that and more! The Fortneys were just the best hosts you could ever ask for! They were available right away each time I had a question. So kind and generous, I felt like I knew them! I have 0 complaints about this home! It was so much more than we ever expected. They had everything we needed. I cannot wait to come back again! The out door patio area was greatly appreciated comfy outdoor furniture made it easy to wind down, relax and enjoy family time. Beautiful kitchen area with ample seating. My family just stopped in Fredericksburg for a night while on our way to the coast. We had 3 generations under one roof. The house was very nice and well equipped for a family. Everything was clean and organized. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great time! We were in town for a wedding, and the property was perfect for our stay. It was super clean and had everything we needed.We especially loved sitting out on the back porch every evening—it was such a wonderful way to end the day. The location was also great. We were able to walk to Pi Social; Main Street is within walking distance. Since we had young kids, we chose to drive to the playground and then walk to get ice cream. Overall, a wonderful stay—we would definitely come back!

This is our 3rd stay here. After the first stay, we called attention to the high broken stone steps to the porch. There is no rail in either place to provide much needed stability. The problem hadn’t been addressed last year or this visit. It is an accident waiting to happen. We won’t be back until this has been fixed. We also experienced a very sagging mattress in the back bedroom. We really like this place. But some things need to be addressed before we can return.

We had great communication from day one. The three bedroom home was spotlessly clean, cozy, and everything worked. We enjoyed the city and a few winery's and had a wonderful 4 day and 3 night stay. We were three couples, all grandparents, and our get away was just what we needed. We enjoyed cooking our meals together while we watched TV and cut up. We saw the sights, coming ang going as we pleased. We are already planning a repeat for Christmas 2026.

Wonderful property and hosts. Extra amenities that you might not find elsewhere. We appreciated the stocked coffee bar, the stocked laundry and the Brita water pitcher in the fridge.

Pictures on website were misleading Bath tub was a safety hazard. We had to put a towel in to be safe showering. Other issues we encountered for older residents were: Safety with the front steps (hand rail) back porch levels not marked (ie with paint?)Cleanliness of the outdoor furniture Loose flagstones were also an issue for us. IE for older residents. But overall we really enjoyed our stay, Kitchen was well stocked because we did cook breakfast and dinners. Thank you. Marcia Paul

Fabulous place! Beds and sheets were so comfortable, shower had great water pressure. And the front porch had wonderful rocking chairs and the back porch and fire pit is a small oasis! If I could replicate this place for myself I would!

We had a great short stay in the Peach Orchard Haus. Communication with the hosts was great and check-in was seamless. The house is clean and well equipped with everything you need--plenty of kitchen amenities including a great coffee station, lots of clean towels, and comfy beds. Good location too. Definitely recommend!

This house is a great spot to stay while visiting Fredericksburg. The four of us had plenty of room, the kitchen is very well stocked with things I have never seen in rentals before. Ian was a great host even though I had some trouble tracking down messages on the app. The back yard is a fun spot to wine down before and after dinner. If you get a chance, dont miss this one.

From the manicured front and back yards to the neat and clean interior, this house was just what we wanted. The kitchen is well stocked, and the bathrooms had plenty of extra towels. There was even a basket of candies to welcome us.

My husband and I and my mother along with our four kids stayed for spring break. Everyone loved it! There was plenty of sleeping space for all 7 of us and we each felt like we still had our privacy. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch. We were close to Main St and all there was to do nearby. This was also not too far from San Antonio so we went there and spent the day and came back. Great experience and the house had everything we needed and more! So many thoughtful gestures! Thank you!

The house was charming, well appointed and within walking distance of downtown Fredericksburg. The king beds were extremely comfortable. The fire pit and seating areas outside were perfect. And before and during our stay, communications from our host were excellent!

We had an excellent weekend at the Peach Orchard Haus in Fredericksburg. The hose was just perfect for 4 adults and 2 young children. The fireplace was used to make hot dogs and roast marshmallows. We loved the coffee bar and the kitchen was well equipped for the light cooking we did while we were there. We can't wait for our next visit.

House is prefect, location and setup. Outdoor space is fantastic. Will stay next time we are in town.

Very nice and cozy atmosphere. Really enjoyed the location. Close to everything we wanted. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking breakfast at ‘home’. The beds were comfortable and lots of hanging out space, but suggest maybe some more footstools for the living area for propping up old tired legs after a day of shopping. Will definitely put Peach Orchard House on the top of our list for our next trip!!

We LOVE staying at Ian's place every year when we do our annual hunting trip. This is the 2nd year in a row we stayed here and we plan to continue the tradition in the coming years. The house is perfect - very clean and laid out in the best way to accommodate the group. The beds are super comfortable which cannot be said for most temporary stays. The backyard is the cherry on top, we loved roasting s'mores over the fire. Book with Ian, you will not be disappointed!

We really enjoyed this property. It was perfect and the kitchen was well stocked. Only downside was the wood stove on living area isn’t a working stove. Other than that it was great!

Cozy, clean, warm, and full of thoughtful details and love. A 100% recommendation!

Two king sized bedrooms-though one is very tight. No place to open luggage so we used the twin bedroom for luggage and dressing. Two full baths with walk-in showers. Well equipped kitchen. Love the outdoor firepit. The host was always accessible and communicated with us promptly. One suggestion: the stone steps to get to the porch are Breaking up and are steep. A hand rail for balance would be very helpful for your older guests. We had two almost falls. Also the dishwasher didn’t work. We never found a box of Kleenex, which would have been helpful.

Love the firepit in the back yard. House had everything we needed. The owners made everything so easy from booking and sending helpful information. I’m very picky about cleanliness and this charming home met my standards. The two king beds and nice bathrooms made it perfect for a couples trip.

From the warm welcome from the host to the cozy fire pit in the backyard. We loved every single thing about this cottage. Comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, add sparkling clean. I highly recommend. We will plan to come back and visit again.

This is my second time to stay at this home. I have found it to be conveniently located, clean, and spacious. It has a very nice layout and a great backyard. We did not use the grill but relaxing back there was really nice in the chairs. The hosts made sure everything was in place to make our stay as nice as possible.

The property was easy to find, very clean, comfortable with three bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the sunroom. We were very comfortable. Sat outside around the firepit (even without fire it is very nice) upon our arrival. A lovely comfortable home.
