Second time returning and we hope it continues. This cottage has everything we need for our stay. It’s well maintained and well thought out. Thanks for hosting us!
Cottage is clean and well appointed and in a very convenient location to water, golf, good restaurants and highway access. Very nice water view from the enclosed porch. Enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again. Thank you
Everything was as expected. Great stay and great views from house. Clean and organized.
We had our first family vacation in years with our adult daughter and husband. This cottage was perfect! We have never stayed north of Newport and going into Newport was so, so super easy and no tolls going over the bridge! Exploring towns we have never done before as well. The cottage was just darling and we spent most our time on the 3 seasoned porch. The ACs kept the entire house cool for our entire hot sat as well. Kate was amazing and so easy to get in touch with. We all said we’d like to do it again next year!
We loved this house so much we came back for another summer week this year. We have two kids, ages 3 and 5 now, and this house is perfect. We love the location—being in a quiet spot near the water and being able to walk to what we call the “little beach.” We also drive down to the “big beach” near Newport for ocean swimming and love having an outdoor shower to come home to. Enjoy this place, it is a real treat!
We loved our time at the quiet cottage. We had all we needed for our 9 day stay, including AC for warm days and a washer/dryer in the cottage. Everything was neat, tidy, and clean. We especially loved sitting on the sun porch each morning and drinking our coffee while gazing upon the Narragansett Bay. Newport, Narragansett, and Jamestown are just an easy 25-35 minute drive from the cottage. Kate was wonderful to deal with and worked with us when we had a scheduling conflict. This host goes above and beyond what is expected! You won't be disappointed if you stay at this cottage. It is just precious!
Cute cottage in a convenient location. We have family down the road and we will definitely stay again!
We had such a wonderful time staying in Portsmouth at Kates lovely cottage overlooking the water! We were there 7 days and did day trips every day. Each morning I walked along the water in a quiet neighborhood and we explored Portsmouth restaurants and the surrounding area Drive to Newport and took the ferry to Nantucket. There were 4 of us and we were very comfortable in the cottage. Hope to make this an annual visit!
What a sweet time we had in such a quaint cottage with all the mod cons. Lovely neighborhood, clams and shells made it perfect.
It was our first time in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. We discovered this amazing house to rent for three nights. My husband and I enjoyed walking along the river, visiting the nearby areas especially Newport. Had an amazing dinner at 15 point Restaurant in Portsmouth. Kate the host was extremely communicative and responsive to everything. We were just two people staying there, but it is perfect for a family of four. We will return! Thank you Kate. Cynthia & Michael
This was a great home base for us to tour Cape Cod, Martha's Vinyard, Nantucket and Newport.
Care was taken in the renovation of this home. It was beautifully updated and was very clean. We really enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back. They had everything we could need and Kate was very responsive to any messages I sent. My only concern was that an AC unit was only provided for one of the 2 bedrooms. The evenings were cool for our stay and it didn’t turn out to be a problem at all.
we havent got together so this vacation was over due all us girls got together and had a great time we did walks on the beach /hanging outside and zoo
Very nice location close to the water. Good restaurant choices. Spent days at Newport Folk Festival so unfortunately I didnt have opportunity to take advantage of outside accomodations.
Our family of 4 (kids aged 1 and 4) really loved this cottage. It is a perfect place to stay to explore Aquidneck Island and Bristol. We loved being able to walk to a small rocky beach and being a short drive from the big ocean beaches. The house is lovely and very tastefully renovated with all the necessities for a quiet week near the ocean. You’ll be very comfortable here! We loved having dinner outside every night and breakfast on the sun porch. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are several shoreline access points closeby so you can walk by the water.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorable, well appointed cottage in a fantastic location. Enjoyed walking the beach and neighborhood and walked to The Clam Shack. Super comfortable beds. Great location to drive to Middletown and Newport. Kate, the owner, was so easy to communicate with. Loved it!!!?
Family friendly cottage with the perfect amount of room for me, my husband, and my 1 year old twins. Plus amazing outdoor yard space and patio setup to play outside. Highly recommend this property!
