Peaceful Urban Retreat in Linden Hills

This property is a gem! It is located directly adjacent to a park and looks out over the lake. We all felt like we were in a delightful bird house. Although the home is tucked into a lovely and quiet residential neighborhood it gives the feeling of privacy and openness. The home has been well maintained and is beautifully updated. The open living and dining space was a great gathering place but the bedrooms and front sitting room have plenty of privacy for those wishing to get away from family energy. We found the location to be perfect for our needs of attending a concert in St. Paul and shopping in Edina and the Mall of Americas. It is an easy commute to the airport. There are wonderful restaurants and local coffee shops a short walk away…not to mention the easy access to the park and lake. A special find!

This was my third time staying in this beautiful home. The hosts are very responsive and caring. I truly appreciated going “home” to such a comfortable, clean, and well stocked place after some long hard days.

The house on lake Harriet was amazing! Beautiful views out of the windows of the lake and park. The house itself was in mint condition. Furniture, beds and amenities were spotless! Very warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend this house for anyone who wants to stay near Linden Hills and the lakes.

Beautiful property in immaculate condition. Great location. Host was very timely and responsive to clear snow and ice, as it snowed every day of our stay.

The house was great with all the details you could want. We had three generations there and it worked so well for us...right down to the available children's toys and books!I must mention that the location is the best walk to town' we've ever stayed at- a wonderful collection of great shops restaurants and deep community- a couple minutes stroll away.

Can’t say enough about this beautiful spot. The home was spotless with a well equipped kitchen, lovely great room and comfortable beds in all the bedrooms. Linden Hills is a great area, so many nice restaurants, parks, and of course, Lake Harriet. Communication with the owners was very easy. Will be back for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay here which allowed us to visit nearby friends and enjoy the local area close to the city. The location allowed us easy access to an outdoor park which our little ones utilized. A huge plus was the nearby bakery, coffee shops and places to eat, all being a very short walk away. We also took advantage of the beautiful walking/running path around Lake Harriet. The few times we reached out to our host we experienced quick response to any questions. Family friendly for sure as we had our adult kids with 2 small boys. The bedroom and bathroom setup was perfect for us to be comfortable. The house and all the supplies were well set up. Really clean, beautiful views out large picture windows and outside deck. You can see the lake but wouldn't consider it lake front views. Everything was up to date and super ;nice, I would definitely go back!

The layout and location of the house worked out great for our group of 7. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely, I enjoyed talking walks. We could walk into town for restaurants and shopping or walk the lake. Loved the big windows and some rooms gave us the feeling of being in a treehouse. So glad we chose this house.

Excellent stay for our group with young children. We loved the neighborhood and really appreciated the toys available in the front room for kids to play with.

We can’t say enough about our stay at the Upton home in Linden Hills. This is our 5th time staying at this residence and it never disappoints! The hosts are so accommodating and are always available to make our stay perfect. Can’t wait to visit again.

Excellent property and convenient to the lakes and restaurant's.

Our family group of 3 adult siblings and their partners thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay. The house was set up beautifully - nice furnishings and amenities and the location was central to all our activities. Every morning we had a lovely walk around the lake, and we loved the deck view of the trees, park, and lake. I would definitely recommend a stay at this house and would gladly return!

An absolutely beautiful home in a gorgeous location. Everything was as promised. Provided a perfect setting to celebrate our daughter’s graduation.

A beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. The house is close to restaurants and shops and it’s easy to get anywhere in Minneapolis from the location. The park next door is a plus. The views are oriented toward Lake Harriet and the park, and it’s easy to walk through the park down to the lake where the trail takes you around the entire lake. The proprietors keep the home in perfect shape.

This is our 4th time staying at this Linden Hills property and it never disappoints! It was our first time visiting Minnesota for the Christmas holiday and it was such a great and memorable experience for our family. As always the house was well stocked, clean and cozy. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful house with perfect location

This is our third time staying at this Upton home and we love everything about it! The location is awesome; the home is well laid out to have friends and family over for dinner, and it is super cozy and extremely clean! The hosts are so easy to communicate with and are so accommodating. Can't wait to stay again in December for Christmas!

The property is lovely. While the front of the house is located on an active suburban street, The back of the house is nestled into your own private forest. The main floor accommodated a comfortable group gathering setting. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Everything was very nicely appointed.

We lived in the South Mpls neighborhood for years until moving to Phoenix 22 years ago. This home felt like we were living in our home again. Great space, great location, and great amenities! Thank you for sharing your home.

This was our second visit. There was no ‘second album’ disappointment. It was just as good as the last visit. Communication with the host was clear, prompt and helpful. The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped.

This is a great house. The location is perfect, right next to Lake Harriet and the Linden Hills neighborhood. The house is very clean and the kitchen is large and new! We had our adult children and 2 grandchildren with us and there was plenty of room.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home a short walk from Lake Harriet. The space is great for families (we had 7 adults and a baby) with a large open gathering space with beautiful views of the park-like setting. We hope to be back!

The house worked really well for five adults and three children. We had great access to Lake Harriet and easy parking for three vehicles (with one in the street always nearby). We appreciated all the details that were supplied: laundry soaps, K-cups, paper products, and so on. Interactions with Kristy were perfect.

We stayed here with our young kids for two weeks and have nothing but positive things to say. The house was super clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed for our family of 5. The hosts are very responsive and easy to communicate with. The location is excellent, a quick walk from linden hills center, the lake, and multiple parks. We recommend staying here and are hoping to stay again in the future!
