Peaceful Rogue Riverfront Home on 3 Acres!

Very peaceful, clean and beds were comfortable. Communication with Stephen and Sarah was excellent. Would stay there again.

This house was so spacious and well laid out and just a fun and memorable place to spend vacation time. The house was incredibly clean and well cared for. We enjoyed the riverfront and some fly-fishing, although didn't catch anything on this trip.

The stay was exactly as we envisioned. We were able to relax next to a scenic river or enjoy family time around the campfire. The rooms and amenities met every one of our needs. The family is already discussing a future trip to this property.

Sarah and Stephen have a wonderful place. They were easy to contact and made checking in and out super easy. The house was well stocked and clean! Can’t wait to go back!

Sarah and Stephen were wonderful host, giving us tips on things to see in the area, always responsive and accommodating. The house and location were outstanding as well. We have never stayed in a vaction rental that was this nicely equipped. We loved the house and location!

Our host was kind and very responsive. We ended up having to reschedule because of sickness and it was a smooth process. The house was very clean, comfortable and had a pretty view of the river. Would definitely stay here again when we’re back in Oregon.

The stay at the river house is an exceptional experience. We truly loved the views, access to the river, fully stocked kitchen, and the thought hosts have put in to set this place up. The place was extremely clean, and perfectly set up for families with young children. We highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to be back soon!

The dog run made staying with our dogs so nice and easy. There are deer everywhere. Very peaceful setting. They have really thought of every little detail. We would definitely stay here again!

Very quiet & relaxing with large deck & park like backyard with large pines & view of Rogue River. The house was supplied with the widest varieties of kitchen appliances & accessories etc than any other VRBO we’ve stayed at. We ate all of our meals this vacation cooked at the home. So this attribute made cooking all meals very easy.

This property was very clean and accommodated our guests perfectly. The host was friendly and had great communication and quick response times. Very family friendly location. We all very much enjoyed our stay and would love to try to go back again some time. I would venture to say this was the best experience I have had with a rental property.

This is a great relaxing place to stay. It has everything you need to stay in, cook your meals and relax. It is also very pet friendly with an enclosed pet area or a large yard to let them run. We will be back for sure.

Loved the home, steps into home need a handrail for us old people. A/C worked great. Couldnt get down to water again afraid of falling again too old. But park very close to home had easy access to thebrogue. Great pantry

Absolutely wonderful stay! Beautiful home and great location. Super clean and well stocked with basic necessities. Comfortable beds and clear instruction from host for check in and check out. We loved hanging out on the deck and the river access was actually better than I thought it would be. We even saw a fox run through the backyard. Thanks for letting us stay!

Booked this for the Fourth of July weekend, my wife and I and some friends.Beautiful setting! The house is great, well set up & lots of room.Spent all day at the river. It was just right, not too cold or too hot. Was shallow enough that you could wade out way to chest deep easy. Our dog loved it too! Our hosts were excellent, stayed in contact with us and even let us check in early. Great stay we really enjoyed it!

Loved all the Birds. The Acorn Woodpeckers were a hoot.

It was a relaxing and comfortable stay for my 91 yr old mother n law. The only 3 minor issues were that the toilet in the en suite master made a whistling noise. The childs swing that my grandkids played on, broke, and was also hanging from a rotten branch and would be very dangerous if it broke. The cover on the barbeque was brittle and stuck to the not very clean grill. Other than that, we would definitely stay there again

This was a beautiful property to stay on for a holiday weekend. We enjoyed the fall colors and fire pit. The river access is pretty steep and was hard for my handicap son to access but we were able to get him to the river with a lot of support. The house was really clean and there are a lot of fun games and puzzles.

Hands down, one of the best VRBO properties we have ever visited. Spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need included on the property. Very grateful that pets are allowed. We had a fabulous time and so did our dog. The river was lovely and we enjoyed watching the boats and wildlife. Also found some wonderful parks in the area if you are looking for additional walking areas.

We had a great time it was a beautiful place. We went down to the river and played with our dog.we played horseshoes and backgammon. It was awesome watching the deer roam through the yard in the evening we had black tail deer and mule deer.

Enjoyed the property and house. Very clean and comfortable. Yard was huge and had wildlife roaming through. Access to the lake was a little sketchy but doable. Internet sucks so don’t plan on watching tv.

We stayed at The River House to gather as a family (driving from as far as Burns and Eugene/Corvallis) and celebrate my husband’s apprenticeship turnout graduation. Our plan was to float the Rogue River and be able to float up to the house at the end of the river trip, which we DID and it was awesome. The house itself was very clean and comfortable - beds are VERY comfortable and pillows too, not cheap like a lot of vacation rentals. Same with bathroom towels and wash clothes, all quality linens. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could ever need and the pantry too! They even have a crockpot which we used to make pulled pork sliders for after the river float. The yard is steeper than expected, for some reason the photos look flatter than it is. The trail to the river was more of a trek than expected as well, but was do-able even for my 75 year old mother and my 19week pregnant self! (Rope at the bottom is helpful). The current was minimal so safe for the dog and kids. We lost power during our last night there which made the home extremely hot (to be expected during the first weekend of August in Grants Pass/Merlin!), but the owners responded to my messages right away and were very gracious in other ways to try to offset the inconvenience of no power or running water. They even mailed back a pair of glasses that a family member mistakenly left at the house, which was above and beyond kind! We will definitely stay at this house again!

This house is very nice, well stocked. River acces is difficult if you have any walking issues. Communication with the oweners was quick. Very helpful having every cabinet and cupboard labeled. 5 of us stayed there and there was more than enough room
