Peaceful Riverfront #1 only 6 miles to park entrance

A hidden gem, perfect for large families and very close to sequoia national park. The stream behind the house was a perfect surprise, best part of the whole weekend. The home was time capsule of 80-90s style but it worked for the vibe and environment. We thoroughly enjoyed it here.

The photos don’t do justice. This place was old but beautiful. It was bigger than expected and water was flowing peacefully. We took advantage of jumping in the water and using the DVD player. Old style cabin, old movies was amazing. The host was also kind and helpful. If you book through Verbo and Expedia the number they have is incorrect. Use the app to make the call because there is a glitch messaging the host through verbo. Would definitely book with them again. We actually had stayed at their other cabin on the right side in 2020 which the river was dry but the cabin was still amazing.

Nice quiet place close to the Sequoia Park entrance. Murmuring water on the back yard, citrus tree with fruits on it. The only drawback we found is dull knifes.

Very comfortable house - spacious with a beautiful view of the river/creek behind it. Easy access to Sequoia National Park and certainly a better value than an overhyped camping spot across the way.

This home was an ideal location to travel back and forth to the entrance of Sequoia. The beds are comfortable and the river in the backyard is serene and relaxing. Kitchen is in need of updating dishes, silverware and there was a shortage of garbage bags, etc. but not a big deal overall.

Our family loved the stay here. It's spacious and clean cabin.

We have rented many properties across Europe and the United States, but I can honestly say that this was one of the nicest we've stayed in. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely comfortable and spacious. The pictures just don't do it justice. Everything we needed was supplied, even hand soap at every sink. And the creek out back! We couldn't get enough of it! Would love to return again some day.

Booked for the location wanting a relaxing trip with a little nature thrown in. Home is very large and has great views! Spent a lot of time on the big deck and down by the river. House was very clean and very cozy. Master bedroom and bathroom are huge. Tons of fun stuff for the kids to do too! We would definitely stay again! Also there were deer, turkeys and many birds.

Lovely home and location. Enjoyed watching the birds in the river. Water levels were much lower than in the picture at this time of year.

The host didnt give me the access code to the property. In the morning of the check in, I messaged the host for the access code. After our Sequoia visit I checked my inbox but I haven’t got any response. I tried to call and message several time but no response and no answer. It was 9:00 PM. Luckily we found other accommodation 50 miles away. I hope this will not happen to any other family on their vacation! We are very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Though this was last year, I wanted to leave feedback as I did forget and got back on to ‘life’. This rental was awesome: space, layout, cleanliness, short distance to those activities we were looking for, the hospitality of the owner, just great all away around!! Sorry for late review. I eh ours are awesome as well!If I could buy this place for a retirement home, I would contemplate it in 7 years.

This is a very beautiful location with so many awesome amenities: 2 garden tubs, a gorgeous view, comfortable beds, lots of space, high ceilings, and SO many games! We saw deer in the BACKYARD, turkey, quail, and a peacock! The host was responsive and addressed a few issues quickly and professionally. It is an older home and in a woodsy area, so bugs are expected. The host has bug zappers and the property is well maintained and clean. I would definitely stay again. :)

We booked a two night stay at this beautiful and peaceful house. Everything about this house was perfect. The rooms beautifully decorated with perfect pillows and comfortable beds. We enjoyed sitting and listening to the river at the back patio. Will definitely stay here again.

My husband, parents and 2 small children were left stranded after driving into town to a home we reserved a month ahead of time and found another family in the home. The owner and VRBO really had to excuse or additional homes to place us as it was a holiday weekend. So we were forced to drive to a hotel an hour away, wasting food that we packed and losing precious vacation time with the family.

Our family, had a wonderful stay. My son was able to ride his bike around the neighborhood discovering turkeys and peacocks walking around. My daughter completely enjoyed the backyard with the river right there. The house was warm and comfortable. Location is great, super close to the National Park. Host was a great help and friendly. We thank you for our family forever memories.

Very comfortable! Everything you’d need in a kitchen and guest room. The home is lovely and we could hear the creek flow. We saw deer and wild turkeys! It was a relaxing weekend 😁

Great location, the area was quiet except for the babbling brook and birds that we enjoyed from the back deck, which had both sun and shade. The kitchen had water, coffee and snacks - thank you!

I have to give a mixed review, since the location and comfort were very good, and we enjoyed our experience with Sequoia National Park. The property could use some repairs, however, especially the shower water control, which had a paper instruction, that didn't work. So we only had one working shower. Also the fan control in the master bedroom did not work, and the electric outlets did not support the modern chargers. Also the grill control didn't work, and the grill needed cleaning. I left a list of improvements for the host. Overall did enjoy our stay very much.
