The lake/river view was wonderful...perfect for morning coffee.I felt the cleanliness of the upstairs bathroom, especially the shower stall, needed improvement. The dusty, bug sprinkled inside window sills needed attention. It was a good stay for the price.

Beautiful location and access to water. Quite neighborhood and cute house with lovely porch. Had a few things that wished were stocked in the house a little better like updated kitchen supplies and handwashing soap.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The host is organized and the communication was top-notch. The home was well-stocked with blankets, though we were missing sheets for the pull-out sofa bed.

It was a pleasant stay, although we weren't there a lot. We were visiting for my daughters wedding. The property was clean and well taken care of. I didn't have any problems to call on the manager about. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to just enjoy nature. The one thing that was horrible was the weather there. It was so hot and humid that it was miserable at times, other than that my trip was an A.

This is our second time saying and we love it! Our grandboys spent the night 1 night and we loved the early morning feeding the fish and turtles. It is amazing how peaceful it is basically in the middle of town.

This is a beautiful lake house with amazing views. It's right on the water. I loved all the windows so I could look out on the lake when it was too hot to sit out on the deck. Upper and lower decks are amazing. We saw an alligator swimming in the water one evening. The inside of the house is very nice with everything we needed. Very close to town and Walmart so it was convenient to come and go. It was very quiet. We loved it and would highly recommend it!

Property was as described. It was Accommodating and my family had the best time. Plenty of sleep options even though it’s a one bedroom. The best part was the early mornings on the porch with coffee watching the water

We so enjoyed our stay at the Birds’ Nest! We plan to stay there again next year. The wraparound balcony provides shade no matter the time of day, and the views are serene and beautiful—especially at sunrise and sunset. We had a great time watching the birds patrol the river, looking for fish to nab. The interior of the house is really comfortable and attractive; it’s like being in a tree house! Plenty of towels, for which I am always grateful. Very comfortable bed. Nice touches like coffee, snacks, and condiments in the kitchen. Sitting on the balcony with coffee in the mornings was so nice we had to tear ourselves away to go into town! But I do have to say, it would have been nicer if the outside spaces and furniture had been free of cobwebs and other debris. The exterior of the cottage needs some serious brushing and sweeping. Otherwise, it is just a lovely place. Highly recommended!
