Cozy, comfortable home overlooking Cane River -15 min from downtown Natchitoches

This was a very enjoyable experience for us. Due to my husbands medical conditions we have not been able to travel much. This was our first vacation rental experience. Everything in the rental was easy to move around and access. With a little help he managed the two steps easily. The kitchen and dining areas were roomy and well stocked with needed items. We enjoyed the smart TV but the ultimate experience was the outdoor sitting area. The stunning view of the river and all the items provided for our comfort and enjoyment was overwhelming. Our grandchildren attending NSU came to hang out with us in between homecoming activities. Our son is a NSU alumni as well. We love this place and will hopefully return someday.

Such a precious house. Uniquely decorated and so livable. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were nice. We enjoyed the outdoor space as much as inside. Quiet area.

The house was exactly what we needed and more for our couples trip. It was clean and the hosts left helpful notes and tips around the house. The hosts were very quick to respond to questions and seemed to be very accessible if needed. But we didn't have a single issue. Overall all, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Everything was perfect. The house is so nice stocked with anything you can imagine. So peaceful. Our event went great. We will be coming again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was really comfortable, super clean and the host provided lots of thoughtful amenities. The back porch was a great place to relax with a nice view of the water. It was an easy drive into town to go to restaurants and view the sights.

What a great weekend! This house is all that we had hoped for! Its attention to detail, the hosts’ communication, and the back porch on the lake were the three favorite things on our list! To be honest, the back porch with its peaceful comfort and view of the lake was the weekend highlight for all of us! We had all the comforts of home and nature’s beauty at our finger tips. We are already talking about the next time!

Was there to see where my dad grew up and to visit extended family and visit my ancestors homes and graves. . Lots of room and the interior was beautiful. Did not spend a lot of time outside due to the heat but had a beautiful view of Cane river.

Everything was great. I was disappointed that the oven wasn’t working, but everything else was good. There are bugs that live everywhere, maybe a I’ll bring my “hotshot” next time. Overall it was wonderful. Thank you.

This home was exactly as described. Extremely clean, fresh smelling, and beautifully decorated. Very easy to get into the home and great communication with the owners. I would stay here again!

Cute property on the Cane river. We really enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We enjoyed this property very much. A lot of little touches make it more than an average rental. We really felt comfortable here and would rent again if we are in this area. The only suggestion we would make is to install some type of railing for the three steps between the two levels. We are seniors but this might be a good safety feature for anyone who stays in this cabin. The owners were great and everything was just perfect. Really a super rental!

House was very clean and comfortable. Cane River runs behind it and area was peaceful and beautiful. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s in the past and this was our favorite. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Snack basket and waters were very nice touches. Communication with owners was quick and easy. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others.

The property was in excellent condition with many amenities. It was very close to Nachitoches. We would highly recommend the property for all age groups.

Had a great trip to Natchitoches for our girls weekend. We debated staying in town versus on the river and we’re glad we stayed on the river. The place was beautiful, comfortable and perfect for our trip. We enjoyed the outside area each night, even though it was too hot to use the fire pit. Next time we stay here we’ll make sure it’s cool enough for that! :)

Beautiful peaceful getaway. Property was amazing. Had a little trouble finding at night can use a little more lighting in the front at night. Every thing was easily accessible.You can just bring yourself everything right at your hands

Beautiful patio and view of Cane River and Christmas lights in a quiet neighborhood with big back yard and beautiful trees. Plenty of room to cook, gather and enjoy time with family and friends around the fire pit. Will definitely return!

Amazing Hospitalality. We used this listing as part of a Veterans Retreat and Fishing Weekend. We couldnt asked for a better place and working with the host throughout the stay was abreeze..Definitely Recommend..
