Peaceful, quiet lakefront dog-friendly cabin w/fishing dock, boats, campfire pit

We had a great time staying here for a quick getaway. Cabin was clean and the views to the lake were amazing. The great room with the fireplace was spectacular and we spent a lot of time in there enjoying the fire. Bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. The surrounding area was great fo exploring. Property was close to town too.

Our third year spending a week in the Northwoods! Everyone loves Hotter’s Cottage! It truly has something for everyone. We all love watching the loons, deer, fox & eagle! Our oldest loves to adventure in the tow boat, our middle loves to fish from Sun up to Sun down, our youngest loves swimming, my husband mans the fire pit, I love to paddle and my mom loves to just sit by the water. It is the hidden gem of the Northwoods!

The amenities in the cabin were fantastic. Everything was there that we could’ve needed including shampoo, soap, towels etc.. The lake was quiet and serene and great for swimming/wading. The neighbors were far away, giving us the privacy we were looking for. I loved all the little notes around the cabin sharing where supplies were. The water pressure and hot water were fantastic for a cabin. No need to bring a fan. They had ceiling fans everywhere and extra fans in the closet, but we didn’t need any of them because the nights were cool. Thank you for allowing pets. Our dogs loved swimming!

It is a very nice quiet cabin on a private lake with only about 9 other cabins on it. Lots of outdoor things to do, fish, kayak, canoe, paddle boat, campfire! Close to town but also secluded. Perfect for a quiet weekend up north.

Everything was great. We enjoyed the peacefulness. Fishing was great off the deck. We hope to come back next year. Maybe a week or two later in June.

The view, the windows, the fire pit and boats were all top notch. Overall a good place. Could use a few improvements.

We loved the views and being in the quiet nature. Great distance to town if anything was needed, but still felt secluded.

We're somewhat seasoned Northwoods travelers and this is by far our favorite place we've ever stayed. Dad's Lake is so beautiful, serene, and secluded. The house was clean and comfortable. The fire pit area is great and the boats provided were a ton of fun. We will absolutely be back at this rental in the future as long as it's available.

Property was very clean and had everything we needed. Fire pit area is awesome, and didn’t have to start up the grill because you can cook right over the fire. Pan fish and large mouth right off the dock. Hope to be back.

Really enjoyable stay. Well stocked and decorated for a cabin in the north woods. Very private. Good, simple directions. Loved the thoughtful nite lights and ESPECIALLY the can of coffee, when I remembered we forgot bring some. Very well done!

Cabin beautifully decorated, very clean, very peaceful. If the goal is a quiet, private, beautiful retreat this is definitely the place and we love everything about this cabin and are very appreciative to the owners for sharing their 'piece of paradise'!
