Peaceful Perch- Public Side Lake Anna, Deep Water Cove, Kayaks

“Peaceful perch” is a great actual description for the home itself. Great peaceful location with wonderful lake access. Lots of included amenities as advertised. The only thing that could have been better is Internet being slow and unreliable which you needed to cast to the tv to watch anything. I wasn’t there to watch tv so it wasn’t a big deal at all. We enjoyed the wonderful dock, pool/ping pong table, the awesome deck space great family room and dining room/kitchen to hang out in. I give it a 10/10 regardless of the internet issue. They graciously allowed our dogs to stay on property for a few which was also lovely.

We booked a last minute long weekend for Labor Day and had a great time. Home had all we needed to enjoy the water in the quiet cove. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was well equipped for the dishes/pots/pans we needed. The home was clean and tidy. Enjoyed our stay and it was close to food lion and a few restaurants.

We had a wonderful time with our 4 adult children! The house had everything we needed, including a Keurig & regular coffee pot, Saran Wrap, foil, assorted coffee & tea & an assortment of spices. We loved that the dock was in deep water & we could dive/jump off the dock. We appreciated being able to use the kayak & paddle boards. We loved that the dock was in a no wake zone too. We also loved that the neighborhood had its own boat dock that was free to use!

We had a great time! We were able to use the dock and rented a boat. We had an amazing time and will be back! It was a great location for the boat to tube and go to out to eat. Fun for all!!!

We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the comfort of the house. Right on the water but lots of steps, which was clearly stated in the listing. It was nice to have kayaks and paddleboard furnished. Our family had a great time on the water. We all enjoyed the fire pit in the front yard. Owners even furnished supplies to make S'mores.

My family celebrated Thanksgiving here and had a wonderful time. Beautiful view and a great kitchen! We really enjoyed our time together at the lake.

This is a well-situated and nicely maintained home, with plenty for our teenage son and his friends to do, and good separate spaces for adults and kids to each do their own thing. The teens loved the kayaks and paddle board, pool/ping-pong table. Our favorite aspects were the totally fenced deck for the dogs and smaller children, quiet cove for water activities, very bike/walk/jog friendly neighborhood and proximity to stores and restaurants. There are 3 levels in the house (each with bathroom), and many stairs down to the dock, which was workable for us but would be a challenge for some. As other reviews note, the tv setup to stream was not intuitive; we got the basement tv to stream, but not the living room, but we didn't try that hard. Loved the family style dining room and deck setup, the grill, and the gas firepit. Kitchen was well-stocked and clean; we got fast responses on any missing/broken items from the management company. I think we would have enjoyed the firepit and garage foosball set up, too, if we had more time and no rain the first day. We would absolutely return again.

The house was exactly what we hoped for! Very clean, lovely porch and docks, easy to get to.

Love the many water equipment! Will come back again :)

The house was just as described and was very clean. The huge deck was awesome with great views of the water through the trees. The streaming service for the TV was spotty.
