Peaceful Moose - Lovely Home On 3 Acres ~ Great View ~ Screened-In-Porch!

Cozy home but the upstairs was not clean as evidenced by dust and spider webs. The linens were terribly old and ratty. Only 1 washcloth for 3 people. The sheets and pillowcases were wrinkled and questioned the cleanliness. Upstairs shower was unusable due to slippery tub. No soap was provided. The porch and deck had not been swept. 1 ply toliet paper was annoying. No welcome / orientation book.

We made a last minute decision to vacation in Lake George and found the Peaceful Moose available. What a pleasant surprise! This neat log cabin style house was more spacious than we thought, perfect for our 5 adults. It has a beautiful view thru the trees of the lake, and is perfectly situated in Bolton Landing. It is only a 5 minute drive to the downtown area with restaurants and shops as well as access to boat rentals on the lake. We loved grilling and sitting on the deck by the firepit. It truly is peaceful! Our interactions with our host Tony were commendable. He is responsive, helpful and kind; he really went over and above!

The house was very spacious for our two kids to play in and all the bedrooms were big in size. Very close to the downtown area.

We had a fantastic stay at the Peaceful Moose in Bolton Landing! The log cabin is everything you’d want in a mountain retreat — warm, rustic charm with plenty of space for the entire family to relax and spread out. The views of Lake George were absolutely spectacular, and we were just minutes away from boating, swimming, and some great local restaurants.Frances and Tony were wonderful hosts — friendly, responsive, and always available for any questions we had. Their communication was excellent from start to finish, which made everything easy and stress-free.If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with a true Adirondack feel, close to all the action but tucked away enough to unwind — this is the place. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a great time here for a bachelor trip with a few close friends. We enjoyed a few golf outings and had perfect weather. Beautiful property with great sunrise views! We plan to be back in the future!! Thanks again Tony

We really enjoyed our week at Peaceful Moose house. The house is very cozy, with lots of space for our party of 6. The first floor master bedroom is so amazing, with a view of the lake. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The kids enjoyed making smores on the firepit. Tony was a great host and went above and beyond for us. We miss Lake George and Peaceful Moose already and hope to be back!

Just wrapped up 5 glorious family vacation days at this lovely Log Cabin in Bolton’s Landing. Ditch the chaos of the town of Lake George and go just a tad north to the best parts of the lake and a darling downtown. This home has all that one looks for out of a lake vacation. Both an open deck AND a screened in porch with a SPECTACULAR view of Lake George. Lovely living room, great dining room table for eating and playing games and a very nice kitchen to cook and socialize in. The beds in the rooms and loft are very comfortable with good mattresses for an excellent night’s sleep. The living room layout is perfect and the stone wall and wood burning stove a great bonus. The peace and quiet of this property cannot be overstated while Lake fun is literally under 5 mins away by car. We had a lovely relaxed and fun time! Thank you Tony & Fran.

We had a great time visiting with our family, the cabin was very cozy with a wonderful view of the lake.

Good experience, good location, quiet setting. The twin beds in the basement were inconvenient for the younger children, but our family would rent the Peaceful Moose again. Additionally, the owner’s communications were very good and helpful.
