Peaceful Lakehouse with Amazing Grand Lake Views

The host and house were both amazing. The house has three levels of space with nice rooms, and large bathrooms!! Plenty of decks to sit on and enjoy the lake and wildlife out back. Very clean, comfy, and cozy with all things needed for a great weekend! We would definitely stay here again!

Overall we had a wonderful experience! Karla was wonderful to work with and very prompt on responding. The location was perfect for our family to attend the races at Eldora but still enjoy our down time and it was also very clean!

We had a wonderful time at the Peaceful Lakehouse which by the way has amazing lake views! We've been renting houses around St. Marys Lake for several years with our dear friends and this has been our favorite to date. Plenty of space to hangout throughout the day and enjoy the quiet neighborhood while getting great views of the lake. Our host provided many amenities from special treats to fully furnished living spaces inside & out to garage parking making our stay extra special. For those who like to exercise you have Gilliland Nature Preserve just a quarter mile down the road and Stasburg Nature Park a half mile away with paved walkways plus paved paths along OH-219 going for miles. With a boat dock across the yard we could have rented a pontoon boat and traversed the lake, but instead we attended a nearby country concert during our stay. Karla, our host, was quick to respond to our questions and request making our time at the Lakehouse even more enjoyable. Many thanks Karla and we hope to rent your space again next year if all our dates align!

This house was perfect for an extended weekend with family. Nice, clean, and updated, this home was well stocked to meet our needs with plenty of kitchen utensils, towels, blankets, toilet paper. The home also had plenty of outdoor living space and seating for all of us to enjoy the weather. We will definitely be returning next year!

This place is great!!!!! Very conveniently located to lots to do. Perfect place for a last getaway with our 2 girls before they leave for college. The host was very responsive. We would definitely rent this place again.

If I could rate this property a 10 out of 10 I would! The host was extremely accommodating, and the home was beyond beautiful. Not only did the host provide the basics, she went above and beyond. From the extra toothbrushes, Q-tips, and makeup remover pads in the bathrooms to the assorted coffee, mixed nuts, and condiments in the kitchen, this host did not miss a beat!. The location of this home is perfect. Not too far from town, but just far enough to escape the ‘hustle and bustle’ of the city, not to mention the water inlet in the backyard. About 15 mins away are many restaurants, a Walmart, fast food, and even a place to rent pontoon boats out on the beautiful lake. We ended our last night with a peaceful bonfire out back (sticks to roast marshmallows and hog dogs were provided for us to use). To be noted: We have a 16-year-old son who loved the fact he had the whole bottom level of the home to himself. There is a small pull-out couch, a refrigerator, a Smart TV, and a bathroom with a shower, all on the lower level. It was basically like his own apartment. Another feature we loved was the huge screened-in porch. We sat out there every evening and listened to the water crashing on the shore. It was beyond relaxing. I’m sure there are many features I’m not including, as this review is already long, but if you have any hesitation, trust me and book this property. It honestly felt like a visit to a family member’s home instead of a trip in a VRBO.

Probably one of the nicest houses we ever stayed in. Lake channel right behind the house and lake 50 yards away. Yard was beautiful, views were beautiful and just a really nice relaxing getaway house. Hope to get to stay again next year.

I would give the place 6 out of 5, but it looks like I can't. Compared to other places we went to, this house and its management go above and beyond. to say the least, my wife was amazed by how the house was clean and how it was well prepared. great job and thanks for having us
