Peaceful Home Cortijo La Rijana with Pool, Terrific Views, Terrace, Wi-Fi

Pros: We just returned from a wonderful 10-night stay at this villa,which exceeded our expectations.Mari,the host,was exceptionally helpful & responsive to all our questions before & during our holiday. The villa was spotless & homely, equipped with all the necessary amenities.The air conditioning in the bedrooms was brilliant, keeping us cool & comfortable.The rest of the villa stayed pleasantly cool during the day due to the window shutters,which also ensured the bedrooms were pitch dark at night.The peace of the location & the comfy beds made for fantastic nights' sleep.The panoramic views are breathtaking.Stepping outside, you’re greeted with a mesmerizing visual feast.The sun graces the outdoor area all day,making the pool perfect for frequent dips.Watching the sunset over the mountains was spectacular,& the starlit sky on clear nights was enchanting.We also enjoyed the coal BBQ for several evenings.We visited Nerja town,& highly recommend the Balcony of Europe for its stunning views. Cons: The driveway is steep with sharp bends, but we had no issues with our Skoda SUV. If arriving on a Sunday, stop at a supermarket for essentials, as the local shop in Sayalonga closes around 3 PM. We had a fantastic holiday and highly recommend this villa. It is remote, but that’s the trade-off for such a beautiful, peaceful setting.

Pros: Eigenlijk alles. Heerlijk zwembad, mooie terrassen en adembenemend uitzicht. Huis met zeer complete inrichting, zelfs wasmachine, strijkplank en strijkijzer aanwezig. Binnen een half uur in Nerja, en in 50 minuten in Malaga. Beiden erg leuk. Cons: Er zijn geen wandelpaden vanaf het verblijf of voor zover wij weten, in de directe omgeving. Naar het dorpje Sayalonga loop je langs de autoweg. Omdat de wegen niet verlicht zijn zorgden wij als we op pad waren met de auto, dat we voor het donker thuis waren. De steile prive weg naar het huis durfden wij niet aan in het donker. Dit is persoonlijk natuurlijk, maar wel iets om evt. rekening mee te houden

Pros: De tuin en het zwembad waren perfect. Twee zitjes was ook fijn en 2 parasols ook. Zo konden we kiezen of we in de zon of in de schaduw wilden zitten. Het uitzicht was echt prachtig! Zo mooi en rustgevend! In het huis was alles aanwezig wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben. Cons: Geen uitleg omdat alle mensen alleen Spaans praten en geen enkele andere taal. Elke dag kwamen er mensen langs. Zwembad schoonmaken, planten water geven, waterreservoir bekijken enz. Wij nemen een afgelegen huis voor de rust en elke dag bezoek was erg irritant. De toegangsweg is steil, veel scherpe bochten en onze auto was er eigenlijk te groot voor. Handiger om dat in de beschrijving te zetten dat je beter een kleine auto kunt huren.

Pros: absolute Ruhe, traumhafte Aussicht, sauberere gepflegter Pool. Gute spanische Lokale im Umfeld. Cons: Zufahrt von der Landstrasse über mehrere Serpentienen ( Privatweg ) zum Haus, kleines Fahrzeug zu empfehlen.
