We had a great weekend at The Gathering Place. We had 19 family members. The property had plenty of room for all of us to hang out comfortably. The porch is a great place to spend the evening with family.

Host was very communicative and helpful. Great house for large groups. Our group was nine adults and needed nine bedrooms…we fit very comfortably. Eating and common areas were spacious and comfortable. Overall great experience.

I have had mixed results with VRBO in terms of accurate listings, but this one is absolutely spot on in terms of delivering what it promises and more. We travelled a long way to reconnect with our family, and we wanted a place where we could all relax, the adults could reconnect, and the children (age range of 3 to 19) could enjoy a variety of activities. The Gathering Place was absolutely perfect! Everyone found something to do: either the swimming pool, or the pickle ball courts, or indoor child's play room, or ping pong, or watching the olympics, and literal acres to roam. Holly, the host, was very helpful in checking in and out and responsive to all our questions. The location is private but super convenient for any needs in town. It felt like a home as well, not a dorm or a party spot, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. A gem in South Bend.
