We were so cozy and comfortable. Close to our extended family and actives. The kitchen accommodated our Thanksgiving prep/meals. Our host Carol was prompt and clear when answering questions. We’d go back in a heartbeat! Wonderful!

Our stay was great. Was looking for location convenient to hikes and outdoor activities but didn’t require a trip on a twisty mountain road and this place delivered. All of the comforts (including towels and linens) provided, good communication, definitely recommend!

Arrived to a clean, quiet, as-advertised property for an incredibly peaceful relaxed weekend. We loved the place and highly recommend!

The property is nestled in a cute neighborhood. It has everything you would need for a weekend getaway like we had, or even a longer stay. It’s evenly placed between Boone and Banner Elk so it’s close to everything one would need. We will definitely back!! Thank you, Carol for a great experience!

The minute you come in the yellow front door you find the touches of a caring individual with décor that is welcoming and inviting. Carol was very easily to communicate and plan our trip flying up to NC for my son's wedding on top of a mountain where is new wife is from. We had everything we needed for a place to relax when we weren't in the festivities. Close to Foscoe and Tyndale shopping/resteraunts. Love Grandfather Vineyard. enjoyed our time and would stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

This place was so perfect in every way! Our little girl said that her favorite part of our trip was staying in “Repunzels” castle aka the bunk bed room with twinkling lights. We are already planning our next trip, the location is perfect to almost any attraction in the area you wish to visit and not so high up on a mountain that it takes forever to leave and return. We hope to be back soon!!! Thank you!!
