Peaceful, family friendly home close to water activities, shopping, and more!

The house was really clean and just as described. We had a little trouble getting in because of technology but Kathy was super responsive and solved the problem quickly. The firepit was beautiful and the outdoor area was so fun and charming. It is a 20 min drive to Wimberley but the view is beautiful on the way! Kathy added so many sweet touches to show that she really wanted us to have a nice, relaxing stay - there was a complimentary bottle of wine, extra things like spare toothbrushes and lotion just in case someone forgot. It is so quiet and really lovely.

Everything was exactly as described. Owner/property manager was the most responsive I've seen to date. Lots of outdoor amenities, which would be great in cooler weather. Unfortunately I decided to go in August, during a heatwave, so wasn't able to fully enjoy everything they had to offer, but that's my choice/fault. They also provided so many little personalized touches, which is seldom seen elsewhere, like little toiletries, etc. I actually brought everything I needed with me, but thought thar was a very thoughtful touch!

We stay in the greater Canyon Lake area at least once a year to play on the lake in our boat and spend time in the beautiful area between Canyon Lake / Wimberley / San Marcos. This year, we had the largest group yet, with 10 adults and children plus 2 dogs. The playroom was perfect each night, we got to hang outside and listen to the chickens and cows, and my dogs especially got to run around and enjoy being dogs with all the country has to offer. There was plenty of room and privacy and room for all of the kids we had -- getting the teenagers in one area and the youngers in another was also fantastic. We are planning on renting this place again in the fall/winter during the holiday season. I love Wimberley during Christmas, so looking forward to our next visit.

We had 2 familes that stayed here (4 adults and 5 kids ranging from 6-10). There was plenty of rooms and beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. The location was great as it was couple of mins away from 2 boat ramps and the grocery store. The drive way had plenty of parking place for your vehicles and boats. Everything is provided in this house and all you really need is clothes and food. The house was clean and nicely set up. The best part was the game room and the outdoor part to keep the kids very busy. There was plenty of towels, cups, dishes, etc...enough for a lot of people. Katherine was a great and fast on her communication and answered all my questions to ensure my stay was going to be great which it was. I definitely highly recommend this place as the price was reasonable for the location and space it offers. This house offer more than a home away from home, it felt like home! I will definitely book here again for our next stay.
