Peaceful Bolivar beachfront home w/ footpath access to the Gulf of America

The view from the large covered deck was beautiful. Spacious and comfortable den area. Kitchen has everything you need. Air conditioning works great.Our stay was a 66th Birthday party. All the ladies were impressed with the decor, we stayed on the large scenic deck soaking up the rays.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house was beautiful- the view is amazing!! The owner responded right away with any questions we had. Reasonable price highly recommend!

We wanted to find a place close to the beach for the Labor Day weekend. The location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and overlooking the dunes. Lots of fireflies in the evening, lots of nostalgia for me. Haven’t seen them in years. We look forward to staying here again!

Everything was absolutely great. I am so sorry. I meant to text you and tell you we had left but the place is beautiful and we really enjoyed it and look forward to maybe booking again next year.

This is our third time staying at this house. We love the quiet location and the house layout. The expansive deck is perfect for enjoying the outdoors but being close enough to the kitchen for a quick drink refill.

Great location. Excellent communication with the host. Any issues we had were taken care of immediately and directly. A little issue with small bathroom access.

Clean, comfortable, had board games to play; we could walk to beach in 2 min from front door; we will come back; I could see my kids go to and from beach from our balcony and talk to them the whole way. So close!

The Sunshine Beach House was just what my family needed! Peaceful mornings and nights, and fun beach time during the day. It was perfect!

A wonderful property right along the path to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the patio was spacious with adjustable lounge chairs. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. It was wonderful to have a relaxing place on the water like this. I plan on returning in the summer months .

Nice property but it is located around a lot of grass. So if there is any rain at all and water standing watch out for the mosquitoes! They were terrible.

This was our second time staying at this property. We love being on the quieter side of CB and it's a short walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart this time and it was much easier, plus we enjoyed driving the beach in the evening. The owner is SO nice and easy to communicate with. The beds are very comfortable and the wifi/AC work great! The only thing I'd recommend to the owner is to update the kitchen appliances. The fridge is fine, but ice trays are kind if tedious. The stovetop was very difficult to keep clean, and the dishwasher hardly worked (half the time the cleaning tablet wasn't even fully dissolved). For the price and being beach front, I just think it needs some updates compared to other homes we've stayed in. Otherwise it's a great property and our family always has a great time!

No beach ruckus because of the wetland buffer. You can see the water which is perfect but not the beach which for us was perfect. Lots of breeze. The house is well stocked and perfect!! I’ll be coming back to this.

Loved the property right on the beach. Kids had a blast playing on the beach. And having to ride the ferry was a fun experience whenever we went into Galveston.

We had fun despite some untimely weather, thank you! The house was everything we needed.
