The house was already great. but there were touches that made it even better this time around. The home was immaculate upon arrival, the basics stocked, and everything in pristine working condition. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again next year!

It was immaculately maintained and is tucked in a spot where you can enjoy the lake but still have a little oasis and privacy. We rented a boat and paddleboards at the marina and used them to go back and forth to The Greystone and club. I especially loved paddle boarding with our kids in this section of the lake because we didn't have to worry about boaters too much. Very calm. The house felt special and we would love to rent this home for many years to come!

The kitchen is nicely outfitted and the bedrooms and living spaces are very attractive and comfortable. The owners had a wonderful notebook with clear instructions and included area amenities.The Toxaway Company was very easy to work with. It is indeed a “ Happy” house.

The view of the lake down the cove is just stunning. Gorgeous kitchen fully stocked for people that cook. Yay! Lovely decor. Comfy bed and bedding. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Stayed four nights w adult kids. Loved by all.

Our only mishap was somehow the gas stove stopped working. Fortunately, the kitchen is well-stocked with a crock pot and an electric griddle, so we just had to adjust our menu. Rachel was very responsive to this issue, but found herself at the mercy of the gas company. Everything was very clean. The area is beautiful!

From the minute we entered the gravel driveway we felt the serenity of this special place, The home was furnished with all the amenities one could want: first class kitchen, new washer and dryer, beautiful stone fireplace and comfy beds. We loved having early morning coffee on the large covered deck and often lunch as well. We really enjoyed the ample living and dining areas that accommodated our whole family. But the views of the lake and the peaceful setting of this special home made us start thinking about when we might be able to return to Happy Bear Cove.
