Patio & Yard: Newly Built Retreat in Ronks!

Our second time using this house for our April get away from Vermont and another wonderful stay at a beautiful home! The location is so close to shopping and being close to working farms is wonderful to watch from the front porch and a garage to use for vehicles is a plus also.Looking forward to our next time staying at this house!!

This is our second year celebrating Easter in this beautiful house. The house is spotless and has all the amenities needed to have a wonderful vacation. Aside from a spacious interior it has a huge lawn which the children enjoyed. It is right down the road from Kitchen Kettle which is very convenient and also is a short ride to Strasburg where they have the railroad museum and train rides. I would highly recommend this house if you are considering a stay in Lancaster with a large group. The caretaker is very friendly and accommodating for any of your needs

What a fun place to stay! I especially loved the Sunday morning walk up the road and the chance to visit with the animals along the way—it really made the experience feel special.The bedrooms themselves were comfortable, but the bedding could use a noticeable upgrade. The sheets, pillows, duvet, and blankets felt lower in quality and didn’t quite match the overall standard or charm of the home. Investing in high-quality, 100% cotton linens and more luxurious bedding would make a big difference and better align the sleeping experience with the rest of the property.

This is a great house. Plenty of room. Great location. It had almost everything we needed. There were not enough hand towels, kitchen towels, toilet paper, or tissues. You might want to add these. There was no can opener, iron, or ironing board. You might want to add these, too. The addition of grab bars and no slip mats in the tub and showers for safety would be welcome additions. Lastly, the fry pans were badly scratched. Maybe replacements are in order.

We loved the house, great location, enjoyed our girls getaway, we were able to enjoy shopping, eating out and a beautiful walk up the lane.

This place is amazing.Everything from the comfy beds,fully stocked kitchen,large table for games and enjoying each others company.It is nestled in Amish country with fields all around you.Kitchen Kettle Village right down the road,easy driving to other well known areas.There was an Amish grocery store that had the necessities for food needed.You won't be disappointed with staying in this cozy place.

The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious- just as described and depicted in the listing photos.

Beautiful and spacious home with everything we needed to enjoy a few days away with our family. Although the home is in the heart of Amish country, it was next to a very busy thoroughfare and workshop which was a little noisy early in the morning. We would still stay again, just a bit noisy if you aren't used to a lot of road noises.

House was clean, in a great location and had all that was needed to cook meals at the house.

This spacious property with it's tasteful decor is very well maintained by the owner-hosts. The home wonderfully accommodated our large family gathering, and is conveniently located for accessibility to many other activities. The brand new gas grill was great for grilling hot dogs, hamburgers, and barbecued chicken for all who gathered. We enjoyed our walks on the quiet side road through beautiful farmland. Many thanks to our hosts for a sweet stay.

Beautiful home ..very clean..large yard for children to play

It's a beautiful, almost new, well-built, large house!We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights. Saw Sight & Sound production of Noah, roamed the area and ate some really good food.

Immaculate and beautiful home! This house is absolutely perfect for families. There were even toys and books for the kids there. We loved the big, well-equipped kitchen, and the large dining table with room for all. The beds were very comfortable. The bonus room upstairs, with the pull-out sofa, was large and had a door, so it was actually an extra bedroom. The covered patio with the spectacular views of the farms was terrific. This is a wonderful location for a visit to the amazing Amish country. We will be back again next year!

This is our second stay at this unit. We stayed this time to enjoy the house and family time and it was perfect. I would highly recommend this unit.

We just stayed at this property between Christmas and new years. There were 11 of us, adults and children. We were all comfortable and had plenty of space to spread out. The house was very clean and spacious. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are large. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a small christmas tree in the living room on the end table. It was nice to have a festive vibe especially since we were having a small family Christmas celebration during our stay. The TV did not have cable. It's only streaming services. The location is good. It's very close to shopping including the Kettle Kitchen Village which is a shopping center with cute shops. A few notes and suggestions:Bedrooms: The beds are very firm so if you prefer a softer bed, be prepared. There are only 2 pillows on each bed. There are decorative pillows but actual sleeping pillows, there's only 2 and they are very soft. I would suggest adding 2 more pillows per bed so guests have the option to use more than 1 pillow. Bathrooms: there are NO shower amenities. It would have been nice if there was shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. I understand not wanting them taken but you can buy the dispensers that stick to the tile wall on Amazon. Also, the hand soap dispensers were barely filled. One of the bathrooms ran out of soap. I would suggest making sure the cleaning service fills up all the soap containers after every stay.Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this house!

We had a nice family vacation before Christmas at this beautiful home. It was very comfortable for 11 people including 4 young children. Everything is a short drive from the house including Dutch Wonderland and Kitchen Kettle. I would highly recommend this home!

Very nice house. Exactly as pictured. Excellent for groups. Location is perfect for visiting multiple area attractions. Did not have any shower soap and traffic noise was surprising for a rural location. Would be interested to know the history of the house since it was built using some of the previous stone structure.

The house is lovely-- it's evident that much thought went into the details of this home. The beds were comfortable, too! The house is situated with a main road in front and another just behind, so there is noise from traffic, but also neat to see/hear the buggies pass by.

Our trip was wonderful! The house has TONS of space and was SUPER clean! Definitely will book here again!! Better than the pictures!
