Patience Cottage - Brand New with Gulf Views & Private Pool in Seagrove!!

The house is beautiful and is a very short walk to the beach . There is only parking for three vehicles at this house . The house was clean but the kitchen could have been cleaner. The property manager was helpful when we had a problem with the pedestrian gate not working she called and had it repaired the next day . The house sleeps 14 but six of the people are in a bunk room. The two bedrooms on top floor share a bath. Master suite is on second floor and has a large bath with tub and shower First floor queen bedroom has its own bath and the bunk room has a bath as well . The pool is fairly small. There is a bathroom with toilet by the pool and a shower in a shed like area . I was disappointed that the house did not include chair and umbrella beach service . We have rented a beach front property that costs less and came with four chairs and an umbrella. This house comes with four bicycles . Close to Seaside . The private beach area for the neighborhood is very small the size of one lot . Laundry room is on first floor . The kitchen is well equipped but most of the pots and pans are in poor condition and many with nonstick coatings need to be replaced . Not much pantry space .

Great location to the beach . Very nice home and had everything we needed .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good stay at Patience Cottage. For the first 3/4 days the pool was very dirty. We called Sunday and was told somebody would be there to take a look/ Tuesday someone arrived and said pool was indeed dirty and growing algae because pumps were not on and water feature not functioning. That was resolved that day. We did manage to lock ourselves in the house with home security system. Made a call to night time team and they were nice but said they didn't think there was anything to worry about and doors should still be able to be used with no alarm. We made the wise choice to wait until morning when office opened to go outside. When we did the alarm was going off and we called the office to finally get a passcode to disable it/ night crew didn't think alarm would go off and did not have a passcode. Therefore we decided to not open any doors to outside after 9pm on Sunday. The management team was receptive but solutions were a bit longer than what we had hoped for. The outside TV did not work but others were fine and overall the house was nice.

You feel secluded in the small gated neighborhood. The beach was not wall to wall people like it can be on 30A and this was on Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed our stay so much and look forward to returning!

The only issue we had during the whole week was the air on the second floor wasn’t working properly. I contacted the rental company and they had a technician out to fix the problem within an hour and a half. I would definitely rent with them again.

House has a great location, and the grandkids loved the pool as much as the beach! The few maintenance issues that came up were handled immediately.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The interior of the home was tastefully decorated. I loved it! It truly felt like a warm inviting home with gorgeous decor. We loved the location and the beach felt private and quiet. The issues: the exterior looked like it needed a refresh. Lots of visible stains all around the exterior trim. A fresh coat of paint would help. . No beach towels weren’t provided which was disappointing since we flew in we used to buy some. The exterior furniture could be a little better. The biggest disappointment was the management company. They made us wait until AFTER 5. About 5:30 to be exact until they allowed is in to the home. Since we flew in at 1 we put our luggage at their rental office and the men who were there very standoffish and looked at us as though we were crowding their space. Not a warm welcome whatsoever to. The owner Chris was extremely surly in dealing with us. Upon checking out the cleaning crew walked in on us at 8:30am!! And stood at the door at precisely 10am as we were trying to rally up the kids. She yelled at us to get out! For the amount of money we paid it really struck a bad nerve with the way they handled this rental. It’s disappointing because we really did like the house and thought of returning there next year. Though I’d be hard pressed to give 30A Luxury rentals another dollar.
