The apartment was very charming. We loved the slightly antiquated feel of the space. For being in the city, the neighborhood was friendly and quiet at night. There is a lovely park right next door. Initially I was concerned that parking on the street with our standard sized SUV would be a problem, but there was always a place to park close to the property. We loved the gardens outside and the living plants the host keeps in the apartment. Steve is a wonderful and responsive as a host.

Enjoyed staying in Steve’s home. The park next door was so charming and the home itself was well set up, clean, and organized. Thank you for having us!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Steve was a great host. The apartment is eclectic and fun! I loved the decor. The apartment was quiet and safe. We could walk to Aldis for groceries and there were a few places within walking distance to eat as well. We would stay there again if we are ever back in Minneapolis.

Steve is great! Very welcoming and accommodating and responsive. It’s a lot like visiting your parents home with memorabilia and nice glass and art. There were nice conveniences like spices and laundry detergents . Kitchen is well appointed. Location is close to two great streets for shops and restaurants- Lyndale snd Hennipen. Right next door is a lovely park, well maintained with basketball , playground equipment and wading pool! Good outdoor space available for guests.

This late 1800’s house has the coziness and comfort of a grandmothers house. The new carpets make it soft on the feet and the furnishing are a nice mixture of quaint and modern. The bed was comfortable, the claw foot tub was perfect, dining room was spacious for a couple family meals and the kitchen was perfect. Located right next door to Mueller park, one of the many cities parks was a highlight. Summer music and family picnics dotted the summer evenings. One of the best features was a circular wading pool that offered cool respite many a night for us and our visiting grandchild. I truly appreciated having control over the Air Conditioning in the second floor unit during our summer 2021 stay . We had use of our own bikes and found the location prime for quick and easy access to the bicycle trails around the gorgeous neighborhoods of Lake of the Isles, and several more lake biking and walking trails. A wonderful food shopping store is just a couple walking blocks away and the biking trail to the Minneapolis Institute of Art just took 10 minutes. The CoVID epidemic has been difficult to cope with but this location and its comfortable surroundings made our visit to our children and grandchildren possible and pleasant.
