Everything about this property is top notch! Beginning with Joe, the host. His communication is outstanding: he reached out ahead of time to make sure we had we we needed and even met us along the way to guide us to the casita. The casita was spotless- and the ranch property is superb! Joe gave us ideas for hiking and even though we only had time for one, it was fantastic. The views at the casita in the day and the sky at night should not be missed. We hope to be back again next year, or sooner!

This was a great place to stay with amazing views and night-sky viewing. Perfect for being as close as possible to the Wave trailhead without camping (which was our travel purpose). Close to many other hikes and natural wonders in the area. It is a very remote spot about 1/2 hr from Page which is the nearest town. Joe (the property manager) was very helpful in making sure we had clear directions and had good suggestions of things to do. Property was very clean and well-supplied considering the remoteness of the locality.

This place has amazing access for stargazing. It's right off the back porch. The owner was very pleasant and helpful when locating the property also. Gave us some good tips on hiking locations and sights in the area.

This was the DREAM of a place to stay. We LOVED IT. Soooooo cute, away from any and all Chaos, sooooo clean, incredible view, and a bazillion stars at night. Joe was so kind and helped us feel at home. He even picked fresh asparagus from his own garden for us to cook up. He told us about many different things to do nearby that you won't find in any brochure. He took good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be going back and I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing vacation.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The house was quiet and had beautiful views. It was amazingly equipped with everything we could think of and all in good shape and very clean. The location was perfect for exploring the region as it was midway between Kanab and page. Joe was very helpful with hiking suggestions and answering any other questions we had. We will come again.

I had a most wonderful stay. It's a lovely Casita , very clean, private, beautiful views, conveniently located between Lake Powell and Kanab, for day trips to Kanab, Zion and Bryce National Parks, too many to list and lots of other hiking opportunities. The host is really nice and friendly and made check in easy. I would recommend this property to anyone!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we thoroughly enjoyed it once again. My husband and I appreciate the beautiful views and dark night sky. It’s a great location to explore the Paria and Coyote Buttes area. Joe is a great host and his house is clean and comfortable. It is remote but that’s what enjoy. It’s near the highway so has easy access to traveling.

Joe was an absolute gem of a host on one of the legs of our 11 day hiking trip. He was kind enough to meet up with us to escort us to the casita in the dark. We ended up getting stuck in traffic for 2 hours during a snow storm which caused us to arrive much later than originally planned. He gave us a thorough tour and rundown of the home and stayed in contact during the entirety of our stay. He’s working on a vineyard next door. As a gardener, I enjoyed admiring it during my sunrise walks. I somehow won a permit for The Wave on my first try for the actual day or my birthday and we had that and part of Buckskin Gulch planned to make for one long birthday adventure. The casita itself was within 30 minutes from the trailhead, which was fantastic considering we were planning a pre-sunrise start and probably wouldn’t return until sunset. There isn’t much nearby for supplies, so plan to bring in groceries and anything else you may need. If you’re looking for quiet and seclusion with desert views for days, Joe’s casita is what you’re looking for!

The location is very private but the view is marked on the map by a camera. People stop along the highway to photograph this place but you can’t see them and they can’t see you. Strategically placed so you have the best view without being exposed to other people. Many famous trailheads less than 15 miles from this great location! Don’t know how this house is so clean while being in a arid environment. My allergies improved while staying here.
