Paradise! Private Beachfront Home w/ Pool & Beach WiFi!

We just got back two days ago, and I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. From beginning to end the house is beautiful the view and beach incredible . Communicating with owner from pre trip, during trip and any time we needed something he responded quickly. Our Family can’t wait to go back. Thank You 🙏

Consummate Host, Reefs Off the Back Deck, Gorgeous Gardens, Heavenly Views Only a poet can give this home and the island a proper review. What a magical experience to finish a cup of coffee on their back deck, stroll down 40 steps to the most incredibly beautiful water I’ve ever seen and then take the kids out snorkeling to 2 reefs right offshore teeming with marine life. The gardens surrounding the home were so peaceful and fragrant. The interior was modern, clean, and very comfortable. However, we never showered inside as the outdoor shower tucked privately within the garden and overlooking the sapphire water was pure nirvana. We loved the privacy and powder sand of the home’s beach. Equally matching all of the wonderful things about this rental, Rick was the best VRBO host I’ve ever worked with by far. Throughout the Covid setbacks we initially dealt with and then the various hoops we had to jump through, Rick was promptly there every step of the way and always with such a terrific attitude. This rental is a gem – just don’t let the secret out….hahaha!!!

This was our 3rd time to the island but first time staying at Blue Hues. Rick was nothing but accommodating and extremely communicative before, during and after our stay. The property is absolutely beautiful- I haven’t seen anything else like it in Great Exuma. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect and close to restaurants. The beach was beautiful! We will definitely be back to Blue Hues! Can’t recommend enough!

Our stay at Blue Hues was absolutely incredible. The location of this house is perfect! Our family of 7 loved that it was just steps away from the most beautiful blue waters and secluded beach. The house itself is also fantastic. Everything you need for both inside and outside are there. We especially enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboads and snorkeling gear. Blue Hues is very well appointed, with gorgeous views from every room. It was plenty of space for our family. Our kids loved the pool (and views from the pool!) and exploring the well maintained grounds. The family of peacocks was an added bonus. Rick could not have been more helpful with our arrival, check in and just generalIsland knowledge. His recommendations for restaurants, excursions, etc were all spot on. This was our first time out of the country with all 5 children and he made the process seamless with all of his tips. He is very quick to respond. A beautiful and unique property on Exuma.

We had an incredible stay at Blue Hues in March 2026. The location, with its private beach and pool, meant that it was hard to even want to get out and explore the island. Rick, the host, is very communicative and helpful. We would definitely come back!

Great views! Private beach with good swimming and snorkeling from the shore. You will not be disappointed. This was our 5th visit to Exuma and Blue Hues is our favorite. Great privacy and easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. We will be back!!

Rick was the most communitive host we have ever had. Prompt, concise, and best of all, funny! His home handbook, directions, and suggestions were so helpful. Blue Hues is a beautiful wonderland. The grounds are made up of paths lined with flowers, plants, cactus, etc. along with areas to gaze at the most beautiful waters you have ever seen. The private beach was great and we spent hours playing beach golf, kayaking, and sun bathing. The home has all you will need to enjoy your time there, a well stocked kitchen with a table that we played cards at every evening and televisions in every room as well as great views from the house, patio, and the beautiful pool. There are so many amenities.Rick has a whole selection of restaurants to suggest, our favorites were Salt, Blu, and Shirley's. Keep in mind that a lot of the restaurants only serve appetizers between lunch and dinner so call to make sure what their menu selection is for the time you will be dining. The online menus are not always offered.Besides our private beach, another favorite beach was Exuma Point which is shallow and offers the chance to walk out into the water for a distance and see marine life and shells.We had a wonderful stay!

Blues Hues was exactly as described. The location, views, and property grounds were perfect. The hosts are always available and offer great suggestions. Exuma and Blues Hues are both special places!

Rick set the standard high for a Vrbo host. He wanted to know right a way of any concerns and always provided needful input. We received planning information ahead of our trip which aided in our adventures.

This was our second stay at Blue Hues. We have already booked for 2027! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. Location is 10/10. Rick is always available for communicating anything you need. The private pool and beach make this home perfect if traveling with young children. I would highly recommend this house if looking to stay in Exuma. You will not be disappointed!

Our stay at Blue Hues was spectacular; the property is even more beautiful than the photos. Both the main house and guest house were immaculately clean. As a group that loves to cook, we were thrilled with the kitchen and outdoor grill, which were well-stocked with every tool and spice needed. The grill was high-quality and in excellent condition. We also loved the living area, the cabinet is packed with games like Connect Four and Monopoly!The grounds are lush with tropical foliage, peacocks, and hummingbirds. The location is perfect, close to grocery stores and Georgetown, yet felt incredibly secluded. We spent a lot of time at the semi-private beach, seeing only a handful of people. It was the perfect backdrop for a private New Year’s celebration under the moonlight.Some Highlights: Beach & Gear: Semi-private with great shade. Rick has thought of everything—the garage is stocked with chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, and kayaks. Pool: A clean, sparkling, and well-maintained spot to relax. Balcony: Elevated with stunning views. As an amateur astronomer, it was the perfect spot for my astrophotography telescope. This is a Bortle Class 3 area; the Milky Way is prominent during a new moon!Beyond the home, Rick is an exceptional host. His communication was flawless and he is a genuinely kind person. I enjoyed chatting with him a few times about shared interests, making me feel like a welcomed friend. If you want a peaceful, well-equipped getaway, this is it!

We loved every minute of our stay in Blue Hues! The property is absolutely amazing, we even did a few photo sessions. We spent a day kayaking to the nearby island and the beaches. We also explored little exuma with all the wonderful beaches there. Our highlight was the men o war sandbar. We’ve done it twice by foot from the shore at low tide and on the boat. We used Gemini AI to give us advice on what to see and what to do. It worked out really nicely. Unforgettable vacation overall!

This was a wonderful place to stay with my family. From the moment we booked, the host was in touch with helpful tips and thoughtful information, which made everything seamless. The home is beautifully maintained, and the location—so close to the beach and the private pool—is simply perfect.As someone who loves to cook, I especially appreciated the kitchen. It is fully stocked with every pot, pan, and tool you could possibly need, and the generous selection of spices was such a pleasant and unexpected bonus. We truly felt at home and would happily stay here again.

Exceptional property! Beautiful property and host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. House was nicely stocked with all essentials and fun things such as kayaks, snorkels, rafts, pool toys and noodles, etc.

Our family of 5 stayed at blue hues for the week of Thanksgiving and it was a dream! The kids loved exploring the properties many garden areas, looking for the peacocks, the outdoor shower, swimming in the pool, using the beach park swing, and going to the beach. Rick was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had before; providing us with every detail of his home and all of the amenities and things Blue Hues has to offer. He had so many water toys and beach things, which made it so simple once we arrived. We had Charlene help us with a rental car and stock us with groceries. We had Healing Hands come for massages and we did a boat half day tour and a half day fishing with Sugar Adventure. All recommendations from Rick! The house is extremely convenient to the airport but also seems so remote and is very quiet and private - tucked away from the main roads. We had such an amazing and memorable week!!

Rick was such an outstanding host. He was always available for questions from before our booking, during the booking, leading up to our stay and during our stay. Not only is Blue Hues exceed our expectations, it will be our residence of choice whenever we visit Exuma. This was a great vacation experience!!! The home is well maintained by the host, and the amenities are second to none!!! I would highly recommend the main house, as well as the guest house. The best part is that the staff is a phone call away for anything you might need.

Everything was as described and more! Pool and beachfront ARE FANTASTIC! The grounds (flowers, stone paths) are just perfect! PLUS, wife got to see sea turtles in our “back yard”! Planning 2026!

What an amazing stay at Blue Hues…!This is a gorgeous property, and even though we have stayed here multiple times over the last five years, we are still blown away by the beauty of the ocean views and the amazing setting on the hill as well as the manicured landscape that provide endless photo opportunities…!Both the main house and the guest house are well appointed, and you can tell that the owners have thought of everything you could ever need. Clear label instructions are located everywhere to allow you to understand how everything works…!The location at Hopper’s Bay is ideal, and it’s located exactly between the airport and Georgetown…My only complaint is not having being able to meet Ricky and Jodie in person to thank them for allowing us to stay at their little piece of Heaven on Earth…!

Our family of four stayed at Blue Hues in early July and it was just wonderful. The location was perfect and close to the airport and where we needed to be for excursions as well as restaurants and markets. The house itself was fantastically appointed and had everything we needed and the private beach, the water, the pool and the views were perfect. The hosts were so communicative, helpful and responsive and went above and beyond, spending time by phone, e-mail and text to ensure we were well prepared for our trip. If you're thinking about visiting Exuma, do not pass Blue Hues up! We look forward to our return!

One week isn’t long enough. The beauty of the sunrise from the back porch every morning made it worth setting our alarm clocks even on vacation. There are plenty of amenities on the property and it is very close to Georgetown. We will definitely be returning to Blue Hues in the future. Thank you again for the wonderful memories!!!

I have been traveling to Great Exuma for years and this property has everything...beach, pool, beautiful tropical landscaping and a well equipped house! The Blue Hues house is the place you want to stay in Exuma because this house has it ALL! There are breathtaking views, it has a pool, and a beach! Rick has a garage full of ANY of your needs for the pool and beach. You can swim out to the reef to see lots of fish and we were all blest find a sea turtle! The house and guest house worked perfectly for 8 adults and an infant. Rick is super to work with and Michelle was the best helping us get settled into the house.

Pure perfection, just like last time. No other place matches this property's magic allure. Everything from booking, check-in, pre-trip shopping and car rental options to the incredible beach and pool, snorkeling reef, beach, wayer gear and pool toys, and, of course, the accommodations.......All perfect!!Truly feels like home away from home. We have had such a great experience renting Blue Hues from Rick and Jodi! From the second I booked to the day we left Exuma, Rick was so helpful every step of the way. We really felt 100% satisfied and comfortable booking this property with Rick, especially being first time visitors in Exuma.The house was everything and more that we could have expected! Pictures don't do it justice this property is amazing!! Perfect location on the island so we were able to easily go to either way to explore different beaches/restaurants. The gardens surrounding the house was such a nice touch to it all. We loved walking through, especially to the outdoor shower off to the side of the house down one of the many beautiful garden paths. I literally just used that outdoor shower everyday and enjoyed the light breeze while staring out into the ocean and hearing the waves wash on shore. Everything was very clean, and spacious for our family of 5. We didn't use the guest house since we didn't need rhe room but Im sure it is just as nice and the main house. Pool was definitely an added bonus. The whole set up was perfect, you could see the ocean from the house, the patio, the pool/pool deck and even when you pull in to the driveway from the private road leading to it. Quick walk down the driveway to the shared private beach with clear turquoise water and nice clean sand. There is even a tree swing down by the beach! Im telling you, book this place you will not regret it! Thanks again Rick!

We stayed here for my 60th Birthday. The villa is stunning, attention to detail 1st class, with everything at the property you could wish for. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach matts, coolers to take to the beach. The interior is stunning, with everything you need and more and the gardens are so pretty and private and the location is superb. 7 properties in 30 acres, totally private in a private quiet road with its own beach for residents! The pool has sun loungers and inflatables in the garage. The annexe was so nice and none of us wanted to leave. The host gave us so much information and was so helpful. I don’t think you could get a better villa and location in Exuma . As we are from the Uk it’s a long way for us but if I was in America I would be going here every year. Amazing, Amaxing Amaxing ! Bravo Rick & Jodi!! We recently stayed a week a Blue Hues and it was an absolute joy! The location on the ocean is perfection the pool is an awesome spot to keep an eye on the ocean and I spent mornings on the patio watching the sun come up over the ocean! The flowers and the birds were a constant feast for the eyes! The house is gorgeous and has everything you'd ever need. The feeling that really stuck with me throughout was I've stayed at rental properties before and this wasn't that..this was a home! Thank you Rick & Jodi for sharing it with us!!

The views from this home and its pool were so terrific that my wife and I didn't eat a single meal at a restaurant all week, except on Monday, when we chartered a boat to go on the iguana, pigs, sharks, and sandbar trip. I can't imagine what this property has in terms of hardscape and landscaping. We will be back next year. We used and recommed Island Wings to charter a light twin to and from Nassua and Capt Andrew at Comfortventures for our boat charter.

AMAZING!!!! This is our 4 time staying at Blue Hues and it gets better with each visit. This trip was for 14 days and it still wasn’t long enough. We just returned from our first trip to Exuma. We rented Blue Hues based on location, reviews, amenities offered, view... everything is accurate. It is a nice CLEAN home situated in a resort feeling setting of beautiful landscaping. All with an amazing view of the gorgeous turquoise waters of the Bahamas.We enjoyed the private pool, almost private beach, nice spacious back patio with plenty of comfy seating options. There were no surprises! We don't know if we'll ever be back on the island, but if we are, we would not hesitate to rent Blue Hues again. Rick is an amazing owner and so easy to work with! We had an amazing 7 days at Blu Hues. Rick is the best host we have ever had. You will not regret renting this property because not only is the property spectacular but Rick will take care of you every step of the way. He is quick to respond to all questions and concerns and has a wealth of knowledge about the island. The house had everything we needed. We loved the beach right in front of the house. We had it to ourselves most of the time. My boys enjoyed tossing the football and snorkeling at the reef in front of the house. This was our first time visiting Exuma and enjoyed exploring all over the island. We rented glass-bottom kayaks and a guide to show us around the Moriah Harbor Cay National Park (T.T. Water sports). Gorgeous place and one of the highlights of our trip. We also rented ATVs from Exuma Adventure Tours (also with a guide) and explored different areas in the west side of the island. Highly recommend checking out Starfish beach and Coconut Club on Stocking Island. You can get there by water taxi or rent a boat. There is no shortage of great food on the island. We loved 23 North and Blu on the Water. We also went to the Fish Fry and ate at Shirleys and Krusty Krab for local food. We had the best tropical conch salad at Da Out Deck, prepared by Rasta Steve (also located at the Fish Fry). Oh and do try the Kalik mango beer. It is DELICIOUS!The house comes well-stocked with kayaks, snorkeling equipment, coolers, chairs and all the beach toys you would need.

We stayed just over a week at Blue Hues with our kids and grandkids, ages two and five. Everyone had an absolute wonderful time, and enjoyed everything this property had to offer! The home was perfect for our two families. It had everything you could think of! From the well stocked indoor cards and games, to the plethora of outdoor seating and water toys. We spent our time hanging out by the pool, or lounging in the hammock by the ocean! We loved the privacy and beautiful gardens! The peacocks were loved by our grandchildren! First time to Exuma and we will definitely be back. Travelled with my wife and 2 teenage daughters. The beaches, the people and the location were second to none. Rick really made the experience so smooth. Always available to answer any questions and provide suggestions. The house is as advertised. It has everything you need and is well updated and appointed. The beach is beautiful and just steps away or just sit on the comfortable patio sipping your favorite drink. It is a small island and the proximity from the home to all points of interest are less than 10 minutes away. Blue Hues is located within a small community of expats and visitors alike. In saying that, It’s extremely tranquil, quiet and serene. You feel like you’re the only one on the island. All in all, Blue Hues will exceed your expectations.

The house, the guest house, the view, the pool, the beach, the expansive property, and the multitude of equipment for water activities (e.g., kayaks, snorkels) allow you to come without any equipment or buy any gear while you are here. You could enjoy your entire week without leaving this property. All electronics and appliances worked flawlessly, as explained in the welcome package. Additionally, all of the owner's comments and suggestions about the vacation home and Exuma made our first stay so much more enjoyable! For instance, we took a fabulous all-day boat trip based on the owner's tip; other than the property, it was the highlight of the week.We have stayed at many rental properties around the world and this is our favorite.

This was our first trip to Exuma and when we read the description of Blue Hues, we knew it was the place for us and it did not disappoint. From the moment we entered the house, we felt right at home. Everything was clean, the furniture and beds extremely comfortable, and there was ample space to store what we brought from home and purchased on the way from the airport. Although we had fun exploring the island a bit, we were delighted to stay home, enjoy the beautiful beach, patio views, pool, and grounds, which were amazing. We snorkeled right off the beach to a little reef where we saw many fish, and swam with a couple of turtles. We still cannot get over the color of the turquoise water. Some of our best meals were made on the Weber grill – the ribeye's from Prime Meats were excellent (a few minutes down the road). We have stayed at many VRBO residences and have to say that Rick’s communication with us was the best. We knew what to expect before we arrived, and everything we expected was there. Thank you Rick and Jodi for sharing your beautiful home, we look forward to staying again.

The owner Rick is amazing and is available for any and all questions. The house is beautiful and has everything you need and more to not have to worry about anything. The guesthouse is great for people in the group that want a little more privacy. The pool perfect size and half of it is just deep enough to sit and sip your cocktail. The garage full of chairs, toys, floats, etc.The location is perfect. The best for last the view from the deck is unimaginable and no picture can do it justice..We will be back for sure.
