The house met our needs except not 18 chairs for family meals. Beds were so so. Air conditioner also so so.

As a Board, we meet once in-person annually. We are a group of 7 and this rental was perfect. Every member had the privacy they deserved. The views of the ocean were beautiful. We also had the luxury of meeting indoors and outdoors. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. It was a wonderful weekend. The location was perfect!

This property and location is beautiful. The house has lavishing decor throughout. The views and location were phenomenal. The size was perfect to comfortably accommodate 12-14 guest and still allow everyone to have privacy. The decks, private beach, grill were enjoyable. Our only issues was roaches in the kitchen, living room and eating area. We killed about 8 of them the first night. We contacted the host who had someone come out to treat the home within hours. It is appreciated but the experience had us on edge most of the trip. It was hard to relax. We paid too much money to have to stomp roaches in a million dollar home. The cleaning fee was expensive so I don’t feel we got our money’s worth. There were traps in the pantry so the host knew it was an issue before we arrived. The hot water in the shower of the master suite on the west side of the home didn’t get hot either. That wasn’t as big of a deal as the roaches though.

Some things didn’t work ( coffee maker, kitchen outlets, smaller oven). Everything else was great. Had a pac and play and high chair for the baby. Really could have used an elevator though.

This was a fantastic place to stay for myself and 2 other families. Plenty of space. Location was amazing...close to grocery stores and restaurants, and being steps from the ocean was great. A few things in the kitchen need updating. The dishwasher was broken: the shelves barely held dishes and the top sprayer was broken off and laying on the floor. The small oven and griddle don't light. A few fun board games and puzzles, but no beach toys...make sure to bring your own buckets and shovels! Overall was a great, relaxing, and fun vacation on the beach.

Location fantastic-it stops there! We stay in Galveston every year with family and I do my research on the homes. We also stayed in another house on the same street as this one last year but we had more coming this year and needed a bigger house. I do normality leave a review. DO NOT STAY HERE! This home is stuck in 2004! No updates and dangerous- gas stove that wouldn’t light without using a long lighter. House filled with gas before we found this out. Safety gate at the top patio not there as in the pictures. We had small children that we had to make a makeshift gate for. Electrical plug fried and put the power out to 1/2 the downstairs.Electrian couldn’t fix it due to extensive damage. Management would not bring extension cords or help. We had to go in the pouring down rain to get equipment to help us through the next couple of days. Just a general unkemptness throughout the house. Debris outside from past repairs, cords hanging out of the walls, ladders and extra in the laundry room, dilapidated appliances. No way this home should have been a rental. If it didn’t fall in business hours Gary Greene the management company was no help at all. Out of the 20 years we have been going to Galveston-the worse so far!

The location was beautiful. Perfect area, little street noise, quiet, private beach, and amazing view. A few things about the house itself. None of the bathrooms are handicapped compliant. A wheelchair does not fit through the door, and does not fit into the separate toilet area. The listing says that there are minimal kitchen supplies, but there are plenty of large pots and pans,utensils, plates, and a Keurig. We brought our own not knowing these things were already there. Also, there are plenty of chairs on the decks. We brought several fold-up chairs also not knowing there were already several chairs available. We had several things either broken or not working at all.Both of the master suites on the lower level have lights above the bed that are not working at all. They both have jetted tubs. One of the jetted tubs does not plug up, so you can't fill it with water, and the jets themselves do not work. The other jetted tub does work, but we had to use a flat-head screwdriver to lift back up the plug to drain the tub. Several of the blinds either did not properly go up and down, and some were falling off of the top of the window pane. One of the bedrooms upstairs with one queen bed does not have a closet, and has a minimal dresser. We will definitely stay there again, these things were not deal breakers. But it would be helpful to update your listing to include these things mentioned so people can plan accordingly.

It was a grand home with a huge amount of bedrooms. A perfect layout. Location was wonderful…away from the tourism but close enough to get into it if we wanted to. The house has a fabulous kitchen. Great for large get togethers. We’ll be back!!

Beautiful home on the beach! Great location! Big home perfect for our big family, spacious and clean! Will stay again for sure!
